IMDWalrus: Recoil Therapy: I'm a little tired of ESPN's promoting baseball, basketball, football, etc during the SC Finals but I have to admit the Tebow's "I'm Excited" x44 was pretty funny

/hockey's back on

I honestly can't remember the last time I watched ESPN for more than a minute or two. Probably back to college football season.

They don't cover hockey, and what they do cover, they aren't very good at.

Europe's actually getting the Finals (all the playoffs now that I think about it) on ESPN America (the NBC broadcast), thus the ESPN comment. We dumped the cable a few years ago & just have a computer running to the tv & stream games that way. It's been funny watching Irish car dealer's commercials during hockey games.

But yes I agree, ESPN isn't very good at hockey coverage when they bother to do so.

Some chick covering sports in LA had to cover hockey for what I'm sure is the first time farked up two of the players names and called the puck a ball. Not to mention the infamous sacramento kings logo alongside the lakers and clippers for the busy staples weekend.

People gave me shiat for linking to Wikipedia, but Zajac's father played hockey for three years at the University of Denver. Travis's three brothers, Darcy, Kelly, and Nolan all play ice hockey as well. Darcy and Kelly both play for the Albany Devils (AHL), New Jersey's minor league affiliate.

Hey hey hey, I may be a Devils fan, but I have no problem with any of the Kings ice girls shown at any point these playoffs. Ladies is ladies.
