Has anyone here read it? Some morning show was talking about a few weeks ago, it sounded pretty hot.

Yes, Meyer is a crap writer, but I read the interview. Meyer praised the Shades of Grey writer for obviously having a powerful story to tell. Yes, Meyer said she did not read the story because it (a story of S&M and B&D) was not her kind of thing. But, when the interviewer asked if Meyer should get credit because the story started out as Twi-fan-fic, Meyer actually said the the writer would have succeeded anyway because EL James obviously had a story of her own to tell. You can accuse Meyer of being bad writer, and I will be right there with you cheering you on. But you cannot accuse her of being biatchy or mean. Actually, she was very positive and gracious.

Meyer's opinions mean little to me. I almost didn't read The Hunger Games because she though it was "amazing." However, I don't think she understood the book, and Stephen King, who has admittedly writtern terrible books said it was good, but not great. Stephanie Meyer is a freaking hack, and even if she says these books are crap, I'm still not reading them, because they evolved out of fanfiction for her sparkly emopire biatch novels.

Not liking Twilight is absolutley fine. I tried reading the first book and it made me feel like I was 13 again, rifling through my mom's romance books for sex secnes again (except there was no payoff like in mom's books). It was terrible.
