Enough to play the Fartbongo to the Coconut song.

Harry Belafonte:
Big numbers! Uh-huh. Wonderful!
I never got his name, don't know from where he came
But there's one thing that is true
No coconut amount's too big for him to count
You can count on him to count for you
Everybody now

Count Dracula: One and two, three four five,
It's wonderful to be alive!
Yes, I'm so proud as proud can be that I've
Been the Coconut Counting Man

You'll be shedding a tear
If your Pres to you

I prefer the simpler, more elegant "0bama." It conveys that he is nothing, yet is going to destroy our great nation.

I love how 0bama always manages to make this about him: "Everybody on this stage has marked my life in profound ways" now let me tell you how cool I am and about my two talented daughters.

Dylan, hiding behind trademark dark glasses, gave no noticeable sign of appreciation or emotion as he was summoned to receive the medal from Obama.

I think Dylan is really good, but it is an odd thing to have a singer/songwriter on stage with the guy who eradicated smallpox or a civil rights leader.

Yes, describing the influence someone else had on your life is making it about you. Many a eulogy now must be reinterpreted as narcissisticly inappropriate self-aggrandizing.

I am glad we agree.
Except you are wrong about a eulogy since that is not the same as an awards ceremony. But in a eulogy to mention your two talented daughters would even be over the top narcissism.

He changed the lyrics of one of his most famous songs in honor of Obama.

Only if Obama gives it. The point is not consistency, or logic, or even real criticism - it's to take a jab at the President.

When discussing a legendary women's basketball coach, discussing how her life and influence extended far beyond the women on the team she was coaching and providing a personal anecdote to back up that assertion seems wholly appropriate to me. Apparently you are offended that a dad thinks his kids are 'gifted' at basketball.

Personally, there's not a single song of Dylan's that I honestly enjoy listening to. But I sure can recognize the influence he's had on other musicians and society in general. Clearly an innovator... just not my style. I kinda feel the same way about Kurt Cobain/Nirvana.
