F*ck. Yes. These are the stories that I kick the hookers out of bed for to do this job each day.

Well... as long as you don't screw the pooch

It wasn't even a real dog, neither. It was one of them fashion accessory sized mutts.

It was delicious.

2012-05-29 09:23:33 AM
It wasn't a stray dog before it went the 1138 miles. Then it ended up 1138 miles from home.

I'll bet the kid the dog belongs belonged to doesn't think it is spiffy.

I'm not saying there isn't a cat that would do this, I'm just saying at the end of it it'd still just be a cat.

I certainly hoped someone took that spunky pup in.

I didn't see anything noting it in TFA.

The day my childhood best friends mother died, a ragged stray dog wouldnt stop following us... to the point that it somehow successfully chased after our vehicle for several miles. It then wouldnt leave our cul de sac for several days, doing nothing but being incredibly sweet and loving to all us children. We ended up adopting him as it just seemed like a crazy divine coincidence to our young minds, as if he was sent to us in a time of great need.

Greatest dog Ive ever known. RIP Max.

Heng and friends were cruising through a town when he spotted a dog passed out in the street, so he did the cool thing and stopped to feed it and make sure it was okay.

Sounds like the kid took real good care of it.

Well, I don't have a dog, so I'm gonna go hug my hot neighbor. When she slaps me,I'll tell her this story.

That'll make it OK.

That author reads like an uneducated dick:

a 1,833-kilometer (or roughly 1,136 miles if you're normal) bike ride;

And why wouldn't they? It's not like there are any jobs waiting for them. *high fives recent state college grad sleeping in a dumpster*

Uhhh, they're Chinese. Their unemployment rate is low and they're not in the same boat as the lazy Occupy people in the US.

And then Little Sa made a tasty dish at the cyclist's father's diner that day.

The end. :)

Is there an article about this that was not written by a douchebag?

2012-05-29 09:44:19 AM
They led it all the way across the country, making it think they were friends, but at the end of the ride they left the dog behind to fend for itself once again in a strange place. I bet that dog felt pretty let down. His new forever-people didn't want him any more.

Appropriate since the dog's previous owners had named it TK-421 and are wondering why he's not at his post.

At the end of the video FTFA they mentioned that they were adopting him. Another article quotes one of the cyclists as saying that he deserves a good home now.

Awesome. Meanwhile people still suck.

You're telling me that a dog passed out on the street you feed one time, and that one instance suddenly recuperates the dog sufficiently that he can average 60+ miles a day for 20 straight days. B.S.

Actually, the employment rate for recent college graduates is abysmal and most graduates aren't able to find work in their field of study afterwards. A lot of recent grads try to go abroad for graduate work or they stay unemployed or underemployed. Only a lucky few get a job in their field after graduation.

Also, did anyone notice that they did the conversion wrong? The conversion factor from km to mi is 0.62137119. That 1833 km comes out to be about 1138.97 miles.

Having owned a cat that would do things like follow me on my jog for several miles, you wouldn't know that a cat was following you until you stopped at mile 1138 and saw a cat staring at you from 30 feet away. It would then run all the way back 1138 miles home if you approached it.

From the look of those kids gear they have tons of $$$, by Chinese standards anyway. So I don't think they are hurting, and probably have jobs already or lined up. Blogger is a dbag.

You're a little behind we changed the talking point from that to Obama sucks at president cuz there's no jobs and give rich people more $$ to create new jobs since they contradict each other, and we like getting more money better than yelling at lazy libs

=============================================================

Employment rate in and of itself for college graduates is very good, compared to the non-college-educated. The problem is the UNDERemployment rate (ie, doing jobs that otherwise wouldn't require a college degree) is over 50%.
