Screw CBGB's, I want to see a film about the early days of thrash metal in the San Francisco Bay Area during the early 80s, when bands like Metallica, Slayer, and Exodus were just a bunch of 19-20 year old kids with no money but a passion for headbanging and loud music. That movie would have enough alcohol-fueled mayhem to put just about any other film to shame, and a kickass soundtrack too.

saw blondie and iggy at the cleveland agora. debby wore a short dress w/ no underwear. they were awesome in every way, and her twat put it over the top.

/bowie played keyboards for iggy, version of china girl was one of my top ten rock moments.
//along with debby's twat, of course
/// read "please kill me" for a good understanding of the new york rock scene in the early and mid 70's. a GREAT read.
