I remember him being a damn good cook. Somewhere I have a set of autographed cookbooks from him.

I've always liked Tim Burton's tribute to Vincent Price, Vincent (narrated by Vincent Price)

My mom and Mr. Price dated for awhile during the 1950s. It didn't last long because he wasn't in the market for a trophy wife.

I have four of his cookbooks on 33 rpm LPs. Pretty awesome stuff.

I have CDs of him and Basil Rathbone reading Poe. They make for a fun night at the cabin.

my very most-favorite show as a wee monster-mad lad.

You're missed, Mr. Price. You're missed.

Makes sense to me, he loved life

Many thanks for all the non traumatizing frights when I was but a wee lad.

This program shows the prototype suspended coaster that became The Bat that opened at Kings Island a few years later.

I love his B-movie appearances and his comic roles. He had a great sense of humour and could ham it up with the best. I'll try to watch something I've never seen in his honour tonight, web speed permitting.

In some ways he was quite a remarkable man. As a young boy he began collecting sketches and prints by Old Masters before they were fashionable and built up quite a collection of Rembrandts and other great artists. He was always a real gentleman and fun to work with apparently.

On the web you can find him roasting Bette Davis and being bitten by a vampire Kermit the Frog. He starred in some horrible movies but also some great movies and TV series or specials.

Subby here. You will notice the model includes a corkscrew. Don't know if you heard the story about the prototype version with the corkscrew built. It was cycled ONCE. The original car was a wooden platform with tires on it for weight ballast. During the corkscrew, the car pretty much fell apart, pieces flying far, hitting the manufacturing building side. So that was the end of trying inversions on suspendeds. (friend who worked there told me about that).

//meeting the producer of the movie in 2 weeks, am excited. Coaster media day :D

CSB time:

I used to live in the City(Hamilton ,Ontario, Canada) where they filmed that little slice of ghoulish delight. I had helped out a cameraman when I was working down the road from the old studios and he shared this little Gem on Mir Price.

They shot all of the bumpers and the intro/outro in one week. It was during one of those that everything that could go wrong, did.. boom in shot, noise off stage, the works. So, after a while of this, Vincent got up, and asked for someone to call him a cab. They all though he had mentaly said "FTS!" and bailed. About a half hour later, he comes walking back in with a 24 pack of beer, sat it down on the craft services table, and started passing them out. Naturaly they called it early that day. And the rest, is history.

I have been a HUGE Price fan since i was a kid.. but about 5 years ago i saw a movie of his called Theater of Blood, to me its by far his best work.. the movie is cheesy as hell, but his acting is just perfect.. and he gets to spout off alot of Shakespeare, so if you can find it please check it out

No matter how bad the script, or how low the budget, Vincent always gave 101%.

Bonus, one of the big scenes was filmed at Kings Dominion, on the Rebel Yell that was in this little Doc, and is still going strong.
