how does a hockey bag work? do the players sleep in it or skate on a tiny rink?

Did anyone actually check, this could have been the way the person wanted to be sent off.

I would guess it's a case of a game of street hockey gone bad. The use of the hockey bag as the casket shows the buddy was given some proper respect. I would guess by that sacrifice that the party that done him was family. Anyone else would have settled on a couple 24 boxes and some duck tape.

Or if you're from Laval, a sleeping bag, a couple of cinder blocks and the St. Lawrence River

Funeral traditions up here can be pretty regional.

A hockey bag, properly loaded, can hold twenty half gallon bottles of rum. A three man Sea-Doo, operated by one man, and carrying two properly loaded hockey bags full of contraband rum,i.e., strapped across the seat like saddlebags, can travel, on a calm night, from Saint Pierre-Miquelon to Newfoundland's Burin Peninsula, in less than twenty minutes.
Buying at ten bucks a jug, and selling at forty, nets out thirty bucks a jug by forty jugs a trip. Thirty bucks a jug by forty jugs is twelve hunnert. In other words, a good night can be a very profitable night!
Er, or so I have heard....

Being called "The Maritimes" sucks. I mean, I know it makes sense, but it's still a sucky way to be referred to. I vote we refer to them as "The Stupid Awesomes."

Speaking of dead things in Canada...

Canucks, what happened with the cultural exports? You guys used to give us Americans guys like Leslie Nielsen, Rush, Wayne Gretzky, and John Candy. Awesomeness to the max that made us want to take off to the Great White North. Now? It's that twink Bieber and Shania Twain.

I mean, Nathan Fillion has been really good, but he barely counts because he's got American blood in him. You guys HAVE to start doing a better job.

Oh, I'm not Nova Scotian, just spent a lot of time in the Maritimes as a kid.
And I think you should add the hockey bag thing to your AFTER you kick the bucket list.
