Volkmann is SUCH an idiot.

Jacob Volkmann vs Paul Sass

I'll be calling both by their last name.

TOTT has Sass with three inches in height and 1.5 in reach.

Round 1

Volkmann starts the fight with a leg kick attempt and avoids the return body kick from Sass, they exchange a couple of punches while moving into the clinch. Sass shows takedown and winds up slipping as they spring off the cage, with volkmann winding up on top in half guard. Sass is trying to turn onto the back, then switches up to an omoplata attempt that volkmann powers out of. Volkmann then stands, then moves cautiously back into full guard. Sass is looking for elbows form the bottom while hunting for a triangle attempt. HE locks it up while keeping the armbar option open, and has Volkmann tapping in a few seconds after switching to the arm bar

Paul Sass wins by Triangle Armbar in round 1

Ah... was that the last facebook fight? Guess it gives me time to grab a shower before the FX prelims. Watch the first few of those and then head to Buffalo Wild Wings for the main card.

They do this to give the appearance of saturation. We are everywherez! Fuel, Fox and FX are all part of their Fox deal, but spread it across all three, Facebook and PPV, and they look as if they are bigger than the farking Olympics. It's actually a good business model, if you can get it.

I'm hoping once Fuel TV is carried by everyone (Fark you Comcast for not carrying Fuel TV in Illinois) they will just have everything there so I don't have to log into the facebook account I created just to watch prelims.

I wonder if he'd ever get in shape enough to go LHW or even smaller.

Problem for me is I have the ut most basic cable package. Comcast are dicks. Just to give you an idea of how wise their programing vs cable packages are.. I have to get a different cable package just to receive the stellar programming on TruTV.. lol fark that..

Fuel TV strikes me as a channel they'd put into that package.

I believe he weighed in at 254 yesterday. He did look better than he has in the past, but I presume he feels more comfortable with the bulk for now at heavyweight. I hope he seriously considers going to light heavyweight.

Up 8 pounds from last fight (more like 14 with water weight), might be a sign of laziness and point towards betting against him.

I'm not a Hardy fan, but yeah, his style (and the fact he brings British fans) probably saved him getting cut after the last fight.

Dan Hardy vs Duane Ludwig

I'll be calling both by their last names, Hardy and Ludwig.

TOTT has Hardy with two inches in height and four in reach.

Round 1

The two circle around a bit at the start of the fight, each looking to find some range with their jabs. Ludwig misses with a head kick attempt and the two start exchanging punches. Hardy eats a couple of good shots form Ludwig and clinches up. Ludwig continues with some good knees to the body but Hardy has the outside as they make their way to the cage. They exchange a couple more knees as the two work for position. Ludwig continues with another good knee and an attempted elbow before they break back to range. Hardy fires off a 1-2 and follows it with a good hook that connects. Hardy follows it with another punch and eats aleg kick. THey exchange, each blocking punches from the other. Ludwig fires off a headkick that misses nad they follow it with a leg kick exchange. Hook attemps from each, Hardy eating one better than Ludwig. They clinch and Ludwig looks for knees as Hardy shows takedown. They wind up in the clinch on the cage with Hardy on the outside. Ludwig scores a knee to the body and Hardy break with an elbow, eatif a couple of punches for the strike. They cirlc around the outside and Hardy connect with aperfect left hand that puts Ludwig down. Hardy is already celebrating before going down and scoring the dinishing ground and pound.

Dan Hardy wins by KO in round 1

I'm so glad Hardy won (and that I somehow picked the correct round/outcome). Ever since he didn't tap out to GSP I've been a fan, and will be for the rest of his fights. Hopefully the UFC is nice to him and doesn't give him any wrestlers for a few more fights.

Good. Mayhem is next. Hope he looks better this time.

I like Hardy. He's a good guy. I also like how when they advertised a fight of his in China, they cut out his stomach and put another fighters on, because they were afraid it would piss of the Chinese over the whole Tibet bullshiat.

Me too, but that might eventually set up a match with two of my favorite fighters (miller and TWAS). I don't think the UFC would have enough PPV signals to cover the massive awesomeness of the card. They would have to buy at least 100 more satelities, and the winner would be declared pound for pound champion and get all the belts in the UFC at once.
