This unintentional racist remark offends my tender sensibilities and I demand this poster be removed permanently, before the poor innocent children are exposed to his offensiveness!

See, now you're just appealing to my German heritage and turning me on.

It's retarded. What a nation of ignorant morans we are.

Are you this thick? These words wouldn't be fun to use if everyone used them as equal. Are you really trying so hard to spoil that fun and just make the offensive words become regular words? Fluck off!

MadAzza: SoxSweepAgain: You should be able to wear a shirt that says "fark you you farking fark" and still board public transport which is what airliners effectively are.

They might, in a way, "effectively" be public transport, in some way, but in fact, they are not, and that is an important distinction.

Further, if she wore that T-shirt to a court appearance, I don't doubt that the judge would kick her out, too. A court is a public place, is it not? But the judge is in charge, as is the captain of an airliner.

I don't know why some people can't express themselves in public without loudly cursing (and that's what wearing the f-word on a T-shirt is the equivalent of). It's really a junior-high mentality. "Ooh, lookie, I'm using bad words! Look at me! LOOK AT ME!"

I had the "F*ck you you f*cking f*ck" T-shirt, but never wore it except under another shirt. I'm past trying to shock people, I guess. I'm not a 14-year-old boy.

Haha look at me you guys I wore a shirt with a swear word on it underneath another shirt. Watch out my legitimacy is so farking huge right now. Might injure an eye. Youve been notified.

A few years ago I was on a Jet Blue flight with Joan Jett and she was wearing a black T-shirt that said in bright pink letters, "I LOVE PUSSY".

gulogulo: sigdiamond2000: f*cking asshole.

My point is that to one person that makes you a farking asshole, and to the next it may not. Societal norms are going to change, and while you may consider using the fark as making something your personal toilet, some may not see it that harshly. I'm not disagreeing with you that right now the norm is predominantly that the fark isn't appropriate to shout out in front of children. Though, there was a time when wearing a certain style of swimsuit wasn't either.

To take a more extreme example, say that someone is offended by someone praying loudly in public. Is the person praying the asshole?

Yes.

Priapetic: An open letter to those who think this is a travesty and a violation of First Amendment rights:

You're wrong. In pretty much every sense.

First Amendment protections restrict government actions, not corporate or private actions. Except for some very narrow exceptions, corporations and individuals have the right to conduct themselves and require certain conduct in areas they control. If you came over my house with that shirt, I'd ask you to remove it before entering, and refuse you entry if you didn't. Are you suggesting I don't have that right, and would be violating the First Amendment?

Do you know how far your rights go? They go right up to the point where they start infringing on others' rights, in this case the airlines' right to manage the product they sell.

Small children behave poorly because they have not yet developed understanding of and compassion for other people, so they don't realize how they are affecting other people. As they develop this awareness and consider it in choosing their actions, they demonstrate consideration for others, a key element in the maturity process. Sounds like a bunch of you need to grow up. The world is not your personal toilet, and not every moment is an appropriate time for behavior offensive to others.

Did you have to be taught not to kick a pregnant woman?

Pilot claims a safety issue because the t-shiat might offend passengers, presumably leading them to lose control of their senses and starting a melee on the aircraft causing it to crash.

Yes, hundreds of airplanes have been brought down by fights stemming from offensive t-shirts. The fighters push each other against the cowlings and control cables, causing the plan to wobble in the sky and, sadly, crash.

He's smart because he's a pilot. Very smart man, that pilot.

The_Sheriff_Is_A_Niiii: I'll make ya a deal honey. The government will get out of your womb when you stop asking it to pay for your contraceptions and abortion.

You have a Deal! Make all abortion legal and a law that abortion at all stages is a medical procedure that can not be tampered with by any government federal or state. Then make a law that government can not provide contraceptives for purposes of stopping pregnancy or provide funds for abortions.

Then sign here.

Pilots are now determining what is acceptable or not acceptable speech in America.

I'm now wearing T-Shirts that say -As long as the Pilot is Awesome -I'm getting a $100 discount on this flight from the pilot.
