Walker: PLEASE HAVE A JUSTIN BIEBER EPISODE!!!!!

Now that's just mean. However, if there is any truth to this, please DO NOT have a Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin episode anytime in the near future.

Not that I watch or anything (my wife used to), but I thought they already did.

Obviously, to validate this trend, the author will be able to demonstrate that every song featured on Glee was subsequently followed by the death of an artist associated with that song.

I'm sure we can get History Channel to do a couple dozen hours of programming on this.

If this was true - Journey would have been dead several times over by the end of Season 1.

2012-05-24 01:00:08 PM
They've had two Gaga episodes and a Madonna episode...

2012-05-24 01:02:22 PM
Then lets hope for the Glee retrospective.

2012-05-24 01:03:10 PM
Of course, there would have to be musicians on Glee for that to work ...

They should do a Glee episode.

Madonna episode, Madonna episode, Madonna episode.

More like these people are killing themselves after being featured on Glee.

The concept is farking retarded and it seems to appeal mostly to kids in high school or those who never got over high school and wish they could go back.
I did try watching it once but could get past the first minute before I raged.

Oh come on. Winehouse was at death's door about 80% of her musical career, Likewise with whitney, and robin gibb was in a coma for quite a while before his bizarre recovery then death.

downstairs: Lets see... 2 were massive drug addicts, and one had terminal cancer. So, no.

Exactly. They had shows with music from people who were going to go at anytime.

Plus, wasn't the Whitney Houston episode done AFTER she died? That's Fox News level Nostradumbassing there.

I could be wrong.

Oh come on, it's not like we're expecting anything worth listening to from either of them any more. Let 'em die, they've done all they can.

If this were true, than Taylor Swift should be scared. They featured her song "Mean" when waxing philosphical about bullying and domestic violence.

It would be interesting if they scheduled a glee character to die, and in the episode one character covered a song that another character covered previously.

2012-05-24 02:54:17 PM
They should do a song about themselves.

2012-05-24 02:58:48 PM
I'll take DEAD SINGERS 2012 for $600 Alex
ANSWER: Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston and Robin Gibb

What is, THEY ALL DIED FROM BAD CRACK

2012-05-24 03:09:28 PM
Since that show has included the music of all kinds of artists who are alive and well, the only sensible conclusion is "No, of course not. Moran."

2012-05-24 03:24:46 PM
Musicians who had music featured on Glee and didn't subsequently die: 100+
Musicians who had music featured on Glee then subsequently died: 3
Musicians who died in 2012 without having music featured on Glee: 11 (Chuck Brown, Donald "Duck" Dunn, Adam Yauch, Tommy Marth, Levon Helm, Jimmy Ellis, Robert Sherman, Robbie Montrose, Davy Jones, Etta James, Johnny Otis)

Yeah, I don't think so.

Glee is practically a Katy Perey cover band. Two rounds of I Kissed a Girl, Firework, then Darren Criss did Teenage Dream and Last Friday Night.

I actually like it. Most of those numbers are fun, and it was nice to hear someone who an actually sing do Firework.

Did anyone notice what song Moriarty played just before he shot himself in the season finale of "Sherlock"? Kind of blew my mind...

The tribute epsiode was done after Whitney Houston died. There was a song featured in an epsiode three days after she died. That epsiode was delivered to the studio the day before she died.

Those 3 aren't exactly going out on a limb for predictions. 2 with high risk drug/alcohol habits and one with a history of serious health problems.
