Same here, although MTV was never my bag and I came to know her through talk radio in L.A. I have the soul of a 70-year-old is what I'm saying.

If you can stand alt rock (again, not my bag), you can sometimes hear her voice mornings on 98.7 FM (also available on iHeartRadio). Yes, it is a Clear Channel station.

I listened to the G. Gordon Liddy Show back in 1993 I think it was. He was out of the studio and broadcasting remote from a broadcasters' convention, speaking with people in the industry who were there, and so forth. Liddy meets up with Kennedy (best if mentally read in his exageratedly masculine, overly dramatic, voice -- I've tried to help by formatting):

I didn't see it, but the one controversial point I heard people bring up was her attacks on atheists, rehashing that old tired cliche about atheism also being a religion. I know she thinks like that, and I also know she likes to hide behind her UCLA philosophy degree, as if citing that is supposed to end the argument. Very annoying. But she says she's "libertarian", and is not in favor of religion in government, plus she claimed to dislike Santorum, so she's got that going for her.

I'll admit, I clicked on the link thinking of the GN'R bassist.
