FTA: Here's a tiny yet important cameo from a couple of NES games in the marvelous Back To The Future II. When Marty McFly travels forward in time to 2015, he stumbles upon an antiques shop stuffed full of late-80s curios.

What's interesting is, BTF2 (made in 1989) still takes place in 1985 - then Marty goes to 2015 and sees those two videos games, (which were released in 1987).

But they never actually go to 1987 in the movie, so it's like an accurate "prediction" in that world. It's not really a big deal, but still interesting that they used real games out of the realm of 1985 while using actual later games.

One thing that bugs is that Gears of War was released in 07, Hurt Locker took place in 04.

Unless the film rewrote itself to be in 07 when I wasn't looking, that's a mistake

That movie has several titles. The DVD I have is called Naked Space. Awesomely cheesy and OMINOUS.
