Doogled: I'm only listening to the game. Was it an actual flagrant 2 or are the announcers being dipshiats again?

It was a 2 if you use the ridiculous standard that the refs have been using to hand out 1s

2012-05-22 08:57:47 PM
How is that not flagrant 2? He didn't even pretend to go for the ball...

Tumunga: Can't watch the game while at work. Listening to the radio...what the hell did I just miss?

Nothin' really, just playoff fouls on both ends that got called flagrants and Pacers fans want Haslem ejected because it makes it easier on their team. No real confrontations/potential fights, even.

/just like the first one shouldn't have been a flagrant, you can't call a flagrant 2 on anyone for hitting Hansbrough in the face - he just has a face you want to punch

Just a flagrant. The announcers were pretty justifiably calling for a 2 on Haslem, but that doesn't take away from their overall dipshiattiness.

It's only of those where there is enough to justify it, but not fully blatent. Basically, it's a regular season 2, playoff season 1. If it is a player with a history, it is also probably a 2

2012-05-22 08:59:49 PM
Oh boy, the two flagrants got the refs all riled up. Now we're going to have whistles on every possession.

IAmRight: Pacers fans want Haslem ejected because it makes it easier on their team

Heh, exactly. His was worse, but the Pacers as a team should be called for a flagrant for letting Hands Bro play at all.

I hate calling anything a 2 unless someone is bleeding profusely or unconscious and that was pretty close. He clubbed him right in the head with both arms.

2012-05-22 09:00:36 PM
I hate that. You don't apologize for the choke sign. Robert Parish should show up and kick this guy in the nuts.

TheManofPA: If it is a player with a history, it is also probably a 2

If it's MWP, it's a 5-game suspension.

You should apologize if you're a scrub who can't make it off the bench in a deep rotation and you do it.

I swear the NBA needs a flowchart like the brilliant "DAMMIT PRONGER" NBA one.

2012-05-22 09:02:36 PM
Holy hell, that was amazing by Haslem, no one expects shots to go off the bottom of the backboard.

Makes sense. Thanks.

Even as someone brainwashed at an early age to be an UNC fan, I have to agree with this.

/No surprise Lawson and Green are the players from that team doing well that are doing well in the NBA

In fairness to Collison, I really really hate it when I'm going straight at the rim, especially when there's no one there, because all that goes through my head is "aw sh*t this is gonna look stupid when I miss."

LeBron and Anthony go to the same barber...

karmaceutical: LeBron and Anthony go to the same barber...

Anthony has a bulging forehead. I'm pretty sure he's taking whatever Ken Griffey Jr. was taking in "Homer at the Bat."

I don't think I've ever seen somebody so confused by a completely open lane; it's like he brainshart himself.

Agreed. I would say he should have used the glass but it is easy to say from my couch

brain tonic?

Van Gundy to the Lakers... book it.

The1andonlyZack: brain tonic?

I thought it was nerve tonic.

Good lord, Heat, learn to hold on to the f*cking ball. At least make the Pacers take it away.

/also, someone should've elbowed Haslem in the eye WAY sooner

2012-05-22 09:09:52 PM
While listening to the radio, I can tell when the Pacers score. It gets real quiet.

/Miami sucks.

2012-05-22 09:10:25 PM
Dr. Hibbert, nice shot!

2012-05-22 09:10:25 PM
I like random threes because the shot clock is running out.

2012-05-22 09:10:26 PM
Dr. Hibbert with the big three.

Especially from centers.

Did Hibbert just hit a three? Did I just see that?

How can you tell? This crowd is a sad excuse for a playoff crowd.

2012-05-22 09:11:44 PM
Hibbert for three...wait, wat??

2012-05-22 09:11:49 PM
I remember a time when people didn't want Hibbert to shoot lay ups

Nice shot, big man!

2012-05-22 09:12:54 PM
I think it's funny that the West teams played back-to-backs to catch up with the East and then they finished their series so fast that now they're waiting forever.

/Miller! You could've taken the whole 24-second clock to shoot on that! And you still missed!

2012-05-22 09:13:29 PM
I was gonna say something snarky about MIller but just saw Granger go down... ouch.

2012-05-22 09:13:54 PM
Uh oh...what just happened to Granger?

So, did a Miami player step in to cause the "roll an ankle on the landing" play? I thought they were going to call those as fouls to get rid of it

2012-05-22 09:14:23 PM
Doodle jump is a solid game, I'd rather have a game I can play over and over than watch one stupid video.

I agree. I thought you stood and yelled constantly when you went to playoff game. Then when something good happened you jumped around like a maniac and yelled even louder. After tonight and last night I'm beginning to think I'm the one that's wrong.

That's probably just a tweak, Granger should be back.

2012-05-22 09:17:02 PM
How many threes are the Pacers going to jack up after 10 seconds?

Did nobody tell them they have a massive advantage inside?

elguerodiablo: I agree. I thought you stood and yelled constantly when you went to playoff game.

Remind me to never go to a playoff game with you.

the hell shot was that...

bulldg4life: Did nobody tell them they have a massive advantage inside?

Hey, they're worried about Hibbert's foul trouble. He does have a whole 0 fouls, after all.

2012-05-22 09:18:36 PM
IAmRight: That's probably just a tweak, Granger should be back.

Yeah, but think about how much an ankle tweak will affect his offensive game. Instead of using his length and athleticism, he'll be forced into a spot up 3-point shooter... oh wait...

2012-05-22 09:19:10 PM
Nice shove of Chalmers out to create a screen by West.

2012-05-22 09:20:31 PM
It would be nice if Wade wasn't channeling his inner Dwight Howard from the FT line.

2012-05-22 09:20:44 PM
We've forced Dwoght Howard to take all of Dwayne Wade's free throws. Let's see of anyone notices.

2012-05-22 09:21:27 PM
*shakes fist*

2012-05-22 09:21:44 PM
Yes, that counts. It was on the rim when the clock expired.

Damn, huge run at the end of the half - laziness is gonna cost 'em.

2012-05-22 09:21:53 PM
It's too bad LeBron is so unlikeable. Those were 2 great plays it would have been nice to enjoy them.

2012-05-22 09:22:41 PM
Come on Pacers, you used to be cool...
