That's not possible. The First Law clearly states that "A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm."

i take two things away from this video/thread:

1.) subby is a damned liar, as there was no strangling in that video.
2.) i need to watch "archer".

How many of those are automated versus radio controlled?

I think the guy that created that first robot played with Major Matt Mason as a kid: www.wildtoys.com

I enjoyed Sideshow Bob there trying to throw the tiny robot in through a big window... And missing. He has a bright career playing for the Charlotte Bobcats.

That NASA/GM robot watched what you were doing. A little chilling.

I liked the fist bump, where the robot looked at its hand afterwards as if in disgust. I was expecting it to wipe its hand.

Since i have started to watch Bob's Burgers/Home Movies on Netflix I have come up with a theory.

Sterling Archer had to leave ISIS (for some reason) so he started a family and opened a burger joint. Once that fails, he becomes a soccer coach and a drunk. Well more of one than when he was at ISIS.

Wellon Dowd: That's not possible. The First Law clearly states that "A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm."

Except when preempted by the zeroth law, "A robot may not injure humanity or through inaction allow humanity to come to harm."

And when they grab you with those metal claws, you can't break free.. because they're made of metal, and robots are strong.

No, an android is a humanoid robot. He is a Cyborg, part man/part machine.

My sister works at the Johnson Space Center and got to "meet" Robonaut in development a year or so back. His arm-span is based on Yao Ming.
