I havent been to any of the games, but I recall hearing that one of the marquee players is black. Before one of the big home games, i found the n word tagged on a common wall right by my house. I cant say for sure, obviously, but I think it might be a football rivalry thing.

It's been my experience that teenagers troll for the sake of trolling. I remember in high school in history class our teacher actually had to give us a primer to WWII by saying (paraphrasing now) "Now, every year without fail during this unit and immediately after there are students who think it's funny or cool or... I really have no idea... to graffiti Swastikas in or around the school. Don't do it. It's tasteless and offensive and downright classless."

Sure enough, during that unit, someone painted a large Swastika in one of the bathrooms and they had to pull all the history classes together and do some racial sensitivity seminar because some snarky jerk had to be an ass. I could tell our teachers were sick of this bullsh*t too.

Arizona seems to have a special breed of stupid. Seems most of it, though, comes from the Phoenix area.

This liberal has no problem with the phrase "illegal immigrant", but wants you to know that you're an idiot if you're using "illegal" as a noun. It is the immigration that is illegal, not the person. I'm not sure I've ever heard anyone called an "illegal killer".

That may be because there are "legal" immigrants as well. There may be an important distinction being made with the phrasing.

? I'm honestly confused as to what point you think you're making. "bait", and therefore the compound word "jail-bait" as well, is a noun. "illegal" is an adjective.

I agree that the people in TFA (including the writers/editors) are idiots. In the teens' defense, they may not even know what black people look like and they may have gotten confused. There isn't a huge population of black people around here.

As for all the people hating on Arizona in this thread, we know you are just jealous because your weather sucks. I'm sorry if our state has been so inhospitable to illegal immigrants that they are migrating to your states and are putting stress on your economies. That's pretty tough! I definitely don't agree with my legisl... Wait, you know, you guys and your elderly relatives should stay on your high horses wherever you are. This is a terrible, sweltering place to live.
