I'm of a few minds here:

1. Marty sold it a little. I admitted as much right away.
2. He's a goalie. You're not supposed to hit a goalie, so it's not like he's expecting to get punched in the face the way a skater might. It's entirely reasonable to say that he was caught off-guard and off-balance.
3. Dude, if you make the stupid-as-all-hell decision to smack a goalie in the face, you deserve whatever you get.

if it were better quality yeah. Devils fan here and I was at the game. It did seem a few times like Devils (Marek Zidlicky) were hamming it up a bit on the ice grabbing their heads. But Rupp totally went nuts in the third. Couldn't believe that.
