The Stealth Hippopotamus: solid list.

No joke. There's nothing there that's weird (Well...bad weird.) or just plain bad.

Loved the "Quest for the New Team" arc. I kinda miss Big Love.

Kudos for the list. It's pretty damn good. Three Stories is still the best episode of the series

My only biatch about the list is that took the wussy way out by naming whole story arcs and not individual shows. They would have just named the article Best Story Arcs of House. ...

Really, there's only three places they did that, two if you discount the end of season 5. (The finale that season, from the moment you saw...well, you know who, onward is tragically awesome.)

I would have been mad if these two "House's Head," "Wilson's Heart" hadn't made the list.

The awesomeness of Cuddy as a stripper and the tragedy of Cutthroat biatch's death. That...pretty much sums up al the is right on House.

I've never seen the show but why do they name shows based on someone's name, that is more known as something that isn't a name? House, Monk, Castle...ect. It's just confusing is all.

3/14 is 21% of the time. that's kinda high if you ask me. Just rename the damn article and go with it. House wouldn't allow such sloppiness and neither should we.

And I know how I would end the show.....

Either that or all the whores House has ever hired show up for a nice "send off" before he heads to serve out his 6 months.

That WAS the shortened season, wasn't it? I forgot that. Oh, well. Stories, then? Since it was mostly single episodes.

List fails without "Lucky Thirteen", which opens with an Olivia Wilde lingerie lesbo scene.

Part of which, can be seen here. (:30 YouTube-New Window)

The show was sort of headed in the wrong direction last season, but after Cuddy left, it was over. Even moreso than Wilson, Cuddy was the perfect foil for House.

Foreman was better as a doctor, not an administrator and don't even get me started on Park and the other woman. In fact, the only one of House's team I like anymore is Taub and even he's worn thin.

They should have stopped after last season.

You can't fault the new crew. We haven't had a chance to build the relationship that we had with the old crew. They could have been great together. And House's "wife" could have been every bit as great as Cuddy but they had to cut her short because the end was farking nigh.
I would have liked to see more buddy moments this season. One of my favs was the "speed dating" that Willson, House and Chase when to. I would have liked to see more of that.

I'd say those were the best episodes of the series.

The show ends with Hugh Laurie waking up in a bedroom, realizing that it was all just a dream and that he's actually Gordon Freeman and he's running late for the big experiment today.

Fantastic list.

The only ones I would add would be the one where he has to talk the Clinic patient into aborting her rape-baby, and one involving the David Morse/pain doctor saga.

Ya know, I liked the one Christmas episode where it's implied throughout the episode that the clinic patient was in a donkey show, and, in the end, she kinda was...just a different type.

You guys know that one I mean, right? Certainly not the greatest episode, but a good, solid one.

Heeeeeyyyy...I wonder what the Polite Dissent guy's gonna do now.

I would pay good money to see this. Sadly, 98% of House's audience wouldn't get the reference.

/Would also accept him waking up in a WWI hospital, provided Baldrick and Black Adder are there and somehow managed to use his head wound to get off the front line.

Even if the audience did get the reference, it's too much like the end of Newhart to be original.

He'll look at Wilson as he plans to get out of whatever problem he has and says

"Well, I'm afraid it'll have to wait. Whatever it was, I'm sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would've noticed another madman round here?"

I haven't minded this past season much, except for one thing... the goddamn Ford commercials dropped into the middle of episodes.

fark your product placement. I don't mind it when it's subtle, but the House episodes just stop dead for a Ford commercial.

House gets hit in the head with a bowling ball (ala' Fred Flintstone) and wakes up thinking he is a British comedic actor who plays blues guitar and everyone likes him so much better this way they don't try to cure him.
The END

A fair point. But for me, I don't find them likable at all. Park is spineless to the point of being irritating and the other one is Cameron Lite: 1/3 less preachy than regular Cameron.

Wilson: I'm dying, I need a friend. I need you there...and I need you to tell me that you love me

There better be an I love you tonight from House.

I just wonder who all the guest stars will be. I kinda hope either Sela Ward or Mira Sorvino pop in.

Also a preggo Cameron.

It's not lupus.

/Just getting it out of the way for later.

2012-05-21 07:04:06 PM
Odds on tonight's episode:
1:5: Someone posts Cuddy in the schoolgirl outfit
6 to 1: It's Lupus
10 to 1: House dies
20 to 1: EVERYBODY DIES
100 to 1: House never left the asylum......
1 million to 1: Hugh Laurie wakes up from a crazy dream about being in America. In a Newhart twist, Stephen Fry is sleeping topless beside them. They kiss before Hugh looks at the camera and goes "Welp, I guess the Yanks were right and you can't just be friends with a gay man" before a sarcastic wink at the camera. Fry simply reads the script for "A Little bit of Fry and Laurie Series 5"

eh, I like the actress who plays Park, but the character's a little out of place. the other chick just reminds of a poorman's Thirteen and with worse acting. maybe it would get better, but it just kind of underscored the idea that it was time for House to wrap up.
