My Grandfather broadcast an eclipse live on radio.

CBS flew him across the country to do it.

No, I'm not kidding.

It was before TV, but still.....

Is it sad that at first glace, I thought the headline meant that the Japanese were going to somehow project The Ring onto Mount Fuji? I mean if anyone were going to do something like that...

I realized it was today just as it was starting. Had just enough time to get a long box, some black construction paper, make it, mount it on a tripod, and write "Eclipse F*cker 3000" on the side with a black sharpie.
