Actually I think it tends to be special organizations or local clubs or something of that sort. The first time I was at a Columbus crew game it was a bunch of special Olympian kids, the next time it looked like they were from an elementary school club of some sort.

It depends. Sometimes they've won a competition. Sometimes their parents have paid to have them there. For the past 4 World Cups, there has been an official program sponsored by McDonald's to choose the kids.
