2012-05-17 08:29:48 PM
Great episode...lol

i thought it was 'series' finale?

2012-05-17 08:32:15 PM
"TROY AND ABED SHOOTING LAAAAAAVA!" made me super colossally happy.

2012-05-17 08:33:14 PM
Also, Giancarlo Esposito needs to be in every show ever.

Make him the Justified Season 4 villain. PLEASE.

craigzy: i thought it was 'series' finale?

Nope!

There's a fourth season (of at least 13 episodes) on the way.

Ahh, phew! All my shows are coming to an end =(

At least i get another community season, woot.

Lipspinach: Who? What's Community?

Jim Rash - Oscar-winning writer, like mariner314 said - plays Dean Pelton on Community.

Community is a funny-as-hell show that deserves all the viewers/acclaim that The Big Bang Theory is inexplicably getting. (There. I said it. I'd say it again if I had to.)

snuff3r: Ahh, phew! All my shows are coming to an end =(

I hear that.

The fact that Breaking Bad is approaching the end is a toughie.

Still, as long as we keep getting Justified, I'll be happy.

snuff3r: At least i get another community season, woot.

Indeed!

Although NBC (in its infinite lack of wisdom) gave Community the Friday Night Death Slot™, the possibility is open for the order of another nine episodes as well as additional seasons.

Nothing's over *just* yet!

I'd like you to say it again, but I already know it's awesome.

Christ, why do they feel the need to pigeon-hole a touchy-feely moment into the end of every farking episode this season?

I'd touchy feely Britta's pigeon hole.

I contend that if you look at those moments as parodies of touchy-feely moments in other shows, it works much better.

That and more.

loveblondieo: That and more.

Even as Community touches upon elements of pop culture and geeky stuff, I don't feel as if I've been pandered to a la The Big Bang Theory. THAT show is just plain insulting on a number of levels.

My secret shame is that after 7 years of hating it, my family has gotten me into it. However Community still beats all.

Hey, diff'rent strokes and all. It's not my cup of tea, but if you dig, hope you enjoy it and the like.

No friggin' doubt.

Last week's episode was particularly nifty. I'll admit it: they got me with the plot twist.

I figured the psychologist had to be a fake set up by Chang. Notice the evil beard/mustache?

There was a tip-off with the cop saying something like, "Oh, the dean will drop all charges if you take Abed to this psychologist he chose."

Because it's the fake dean, you KNOW something's up, but I forgot about it over the course of the episode... and the asylum flashbacks had some odd level of plausibility, the way they were set up.

loveblondieo: Notice the evil beard/mustache?

You know, to be honest, that never occurred to me... but that makes sense in the Communityverse.

And if Nathan Fillion weren't busy with other commitments, he would've played that psychologist. I would've loved to have seen his approach to the whole shebang.

Abed's plumber character is eerily dead-on.

Are people using her name to mean "make a small mistake"?

That's probably part of the plan.

The dean now has facial hair just like he tried to have at the beginning of the season. Coincidence?

Britta as the mystical swami would've worked, though.

You're a smart & funny guy so I'll find & watch Community, but I've tried BBT not to my liking so I am confused.

She could have used her awesome "singing" to break through.

An evil keytar solo, the BASTARD.

Lipspinach: You're a smart & funny guy so I'll find & watch Community, but I've tried BBT not to my liking so I am confused.

Start with Season 1 and work your way through the DVDs.

Trust me. Season 3 is AMAZING.

(And thanks for the kind words!)

loveblondieo: She could have used her awesome "singing" to break through.

Over a keytar solo?

That's very possible!
