The couple voluntarily surrendered the animals, which were taken to the shelter the following Monday and have since been cleaned up, provided veterinary care, and parceled out to other animal rescue groups that offered to help.

No this was in Michigan. My boyfriend actually worked this story for WWMT as the photog when this story first broke and they took all the dogs to the shelter. He said it was disgusting the condition the dogs were in. Caked in poo so bad they had to shave them. And covered in bugs. But many of them found homes already.

Lots of urine burns and inbreeding as well. Every few days I call the health department to see if they have recommended the house be condemned.

Yeah, I can see it. If people were paying a couple of hundred dollars to get mixed breed puppies from these kinds of breeds, I'm not surprised people have lined up to get their puppy while the getting's good. Which is a much happier story than you usually get in these animal hoarding cases.

We also had to burn your clothes and de-louse you before you could come back into the house.
