Yes, he "misspoke". At least own your paranoid racism you dickbag.

"I don't know whether Barack Obama was born in the United States or not," Coffman said. "But I do know this, that in his heart, he's not an American. He's just not an American."

Days later, the congressman offered a written apology.

"I misspoke and I apologize," Coffman told KUSA-TV.

"you see, i didn't mean to say that he's not american in his heart. that's silly. what i meant to say was that deep in the crevices of his asshole, barack obama is not american. everywhere else, he's probably pretty legit though."

We get it. He's not white.

I want someone to ask him where, exactly, the misspeaking was. But our media won't do that because that interferes with "balanced coverage"

He misspoke. He meant to say Obama is blah.

What exactly has he done that shows he is "not American" from a policy perspective?

/i know, these attacks have nothing to do with policy

well no, not from a policy perspective, but from a "feelin' it in your heart" perspective. that's where he harbors all of his nefarious plans to ban guns, implement shariah law, and finger our daughters once he's re-elected.

"I misspoke when I said 'I don't know whether Barack Obama was born in the United States of America. I don't know that.' What I meant to say was 'I do know whether Barack Obama was born in the United States of America. I do know that.' It's a simple mistake."

The neat thing is, some of these same asswit punks wanted to jail people that questioned Cheney and Bush.

What he meant to say was that Obama was born with a congenital heart condition. His father traveled into the jungles of Kenya to find him a cure. There, he met the baboon king who thought the man was trying to steal its treasure, so he beat him to death. With his dying breath, Obama Sr. told the baboon king about his sick son. The baboon felt so terribly for his crime that he gave his own heart to Obama.

So you see... Obama actually has the heart of a Kenyan baboon.

2012-05-17 09:39:58 AM
Obama is smart, articulate, thoughtful, patient, and reasonable.

Based on that, I really have my doubts that he's American too. Kind of a closet Canadian.

But was the transplant done in Kenya or the US? Where is the long form transplant certificate?

I'm just asking questions

I hear the baboon's father was a communist.

It's simple. Obama doesn't have American flag stickers all over his private vehicle, he doesn't have more than one t-shirt or sweatshirt emblazoned with the American flag on it in his closet, and he doesn't have a tattoo of an American flag somewhere on his person. Therefore, he's not a real American in his heart.

Modern conservatism doesn't even allow for differing opinions on policy. Those opinions aren't just wrong, they're unAmerican. Both sides are exactly the same!

"I misspoke and I apologize," Coffman told KUSA-TV.

No you didn't, and no you don't.

There isn't any "interpretation" in what he said, it was pretty cut & dry. People still think in 2012 that you can have your cake and eat it too, and you get to say things to certain people that you are trying to court favor from, and it won't get back to anyone else, like it is 1982. Today whatever you say will inevitably get dispersed across the internet and gain traction to the traditional media.

Don't apologize, you swine. Stand up for your douchebaggery. At least gain a modicum of respect for being an honest ignorant partisan racist asshole.

Anyone listen to the audio? He claims the President is entirely responsible for the deep defense cuts negotiated in Congress,(as part of the debt ceiling deal) that the military won't vote for the President, and that President Obama is somehow entirely responsible for the Great Recession's occurrence. Seriously. Even though all of these are (as pointed out in links) demonstrably false. And only then do you hear the 'dog-whistle' language. Cute. Republicans should be outraged by this guy. Because he's now playing the race/nationality card, its impossible to have a legitimate discussion of the shortcomings of policy. And he's insulting his own voting bloc--Colorado went for Obama by 53% in 2008. And he's accusing his own constituency of electing un-American people. Don't they realize he's insulting their intelligence?

I think Romney has a potential VP running-mate.

Snark aside, I think they might announce soon. The campaign isn't speaking much lately.

That was an extremely well-researched comment. Bravo.

Okay guys here is the secret code, when we want to point out that someone is black we say "in his heart he's not an American," then we don't get accused of racism, kapeesh?

Because letting the poor starve and letting people with treatable illnesses die is the American way. USA! USA! USA!

I would actually donate money to the campaign of the first GOP candidate to answer a question about Obama's birth and/or citizenship with something along the lines of "For God's sake, can we get over this nonsense already? Next question."

I had no idea that John Wayne Gacy was going to be Mitten's running mate. This will at least make John's image improve...

I don't know if Obama farks goats or not, but in his heart...

If you say I don't know if you are making that claim you crazy birther. And you didn't misspeak, you said exactly what you wanted to in order to pander to your political base.

A Republican said this? I am simply shocked!

Are these the same f*cking people who told us that it's un-patriotic to question a president while we are at war? I mean, the Iraq fiasco was a genuine grievance, but these farkwits have to resort to just making shiat up.

You didn't "misspeak", you asshole. You are a liar and a coward.

I love my fellow Coloradans, they are an ever giving source of stupidity. While speaking to an acquaintance about political subjects, I explained some recent changes in the Law, and he argued that my source was fallible. I challenged him to find any and all sources regarding the subject, and he said it didn't matter, the Media (and he used finger quotes) got the story wrong anyway and they are not to be trusted. I told him my source was Fox News and it shook him to the core.

This is the same guy that said Trayvon Martin was a gang-banging thug that deserved what he got and that women need to stop complaining about their made up War On Women because it doesn't really exist, they'd be in better positions if they worked harder and were smart enough to intellectually duel with men, but they're just not genetically built that way.

The Derp is strong with them out in these parts.
