DjangoStonereaver: For those of you who may not get the headline, here's the origin of it.

No, the source of the headline is that that is what the guy said to the trainers. There's no meta humor involved.

Where do you think Rhymes stole it from?

My assertion still stands.

Yeah, that headline references the first time someone said I'm Batman as opposed to, say, the movies, TV show and comic books.

It references the first time someone said it in response to concussion assessment exam.

Now, stop fighting ... you're both pretty.

Homer Nixon: I've never completely passed out but I definitely know the sensation of your blood pressure dropping suddenly after an adrenaline rush. It's happened a few times after getting blood drawn. Really weird feeling.

It's called a "vasovagal syncope".

It's also what makes people faint when something freaks them the hell out, like if you saw someone jump in front of a subway train and you pass out "from fright".

I've had it happened when I got hit really hard in the thigh muscle during a martial arts class (I was kicking upwards, tall guy's heel came down like a hammer onto my thigh). Wasn't serious but hurt like a sonuvabiatch. I started doing the "Owie, owie, owie!" dance, then everything suddenly got grey and whoozy and I slowly sunk to the floor.

Hell, I'd say there is a greater chance of him actually thinking he was Batman before the chances of him remembering some random Snickers commercial from 10 years ago. (is it 10 years old?)

You clearly are downplaying the greatness of that commercial.

justtray: Which, in turn, is taken from the end of Batman and Robin, when Jim Carrey is in the insane asylum and they ask him if he knows who batman is, and he says, "I AM the BAT-MAN!."

Basically, that was the best part of that movie.

Ugh you oaf obviously that was from BATMAN FOREVER

I missed that, thanks.

/maybe tv is good for something after all

I think its one of the best commercials of all time. Of ALL time.

And one of the definitive portrayals of The Caped Crusader in any medium.

/Certainly better than George Clooney's, anyway.
