Well I for one am truly looking forward to "My Fabulous Dress for my big gay circus wedding to Jo-Jo the Dog-faced Boy" premiering this fall

They should have a show where someone buys child beauty pageant contestants at pawn shops or container sales and hoards them.

2012-05-17 10:31:23 AM
The only thing I've "learned" from The Learning Channel is not to watch it.

2012-05-17 10:32:19 AM
They should just lump all of their creepy child exploitation reality shows into a single 3 hour block. Everyone viewing the entirety of said 3 hour block shall be immediately added to a nationwide sex offender registry.

If you voluntarily watch this crap regularly, please eat a bullet. You're everything wrong with this culture and you should stop wasting oxygen.

2012-05-17 10:34:55 AM
Last Monday I drank far too much rum and went back to a buddies house to smoke some. Right then his exwife (who was visitng for some reason or another) thought it would be funny to watch this show. Now while I am 90% sure the next few hours of dry heaving and near death panic stickness was the result of too much booze mix with smoking, I wonder how much that vile concentrated evil from the tv was to blame. There is a fundamental flaw in a human being who at any time watches, supports, partakes, or produces this stuff. They are not just lacking basic intelligence or understanding, they are broken. They are broken and gleefully so and we should not pretend their lives are as important as others.

What are we supposed to be learning again?

2012-05-17 10:41:26 AM
Every adult involved with this show at any level needs to die a horrible and painful death. The kids should be deprogrammed and fostered by families far away from any TV signal.

2012-05-17 10:42:01 AM
These shows just flat gross me out. I am SO disappointed that Logo jumped on the child exploitation bandwagon. It was one of the few channels I still had a bit of respect for.

/will still watch anything RuPaul does, though
//Unless it's with Eve. Sorry, Ru.

This show makes me feel as if I'm doing a far better job of fathering then I am actually doing. So, I sorta like it.

I don't watch this show and I don't care about this show. But, because the new kid on the show is a dwarf, that freaks subby out?

Subby sounds like as big a dick as the parents on this show.

I think it's less about "ZOMG DWARF" as it is they obviously feel that the shameless exploitation of children is losing its ratings appeal and have gone to an even more grotesque form of sideshow circusry.

It's not Little People, Big World. It's "ok, you thought the KIDS were freaks, wait until you get a load of THIS!"

You know, normally I would see the humor and laugh at this. However, there's a difference to me between liking something others don't like.. And the continued existence of a show that perpetually justifies making very small girls look like street walkers for "entertainment."

It's just sick. I'm not anti-pageant as these kinds of things have existed a lot longer than I've been alive. Did they always make ridiculously small girls dress like complete whores and I'm just being overly-sensitive to a non-issue? Or is there true cause for outrage?

Tell me fark.. I need to know what I should be outraged at.

/I know your picture was in jest.
//just seemed like a good segue to my question.

That show is valuable as nothing more than a cautionary tale to the normal folks.

I'd love to see a follow-up 10-15 years from now to find out how many "Little Miss Skeeter County"s are:
A) On the pole
B) Weigh more than a Buick
C) Creating the next generation of pageant robots
D) Healthy thanks to a team of therapists on danger pay

As far as making the show more creepy? That's a stumper. Maybe start featuring an amputee clown licking the ladies room floor at an abandoned insane asylum while a blind orphan eats his way out of a slaughterhouse dumpster?

Where are the fathers in these shows? I don't know anything about the histrionics involved in mothers doing this to their children but I do know even though I don't have a kid,I do have a niece and I can't imagine a father allowing this shiat to happen.

Only the ones that pole can support-see B

B) Weigh more than a Buick

See the "moms" IIRC most are the size of a Buick or approaching it fast.

C) Creating the next generation of pageant robots
D) Healthy thanks to a team of therapists on danger pay

It will continue for some and there are going to be lots of shinny new boats due these shows.

They spend thousands of dollars on a dress that their daughter might get to wear once...

The fathers are there. They're just at the bar around the corner trying to not be subjected to whore'd out 8 year olds, while trying to forget that their daughter is one of them....

Courtesy of their bat shiat insane mother who's attempting to live vicariously through a pre-teen.

I do have kids and I can say with certainty that their mother would be dead in a ditch if she tried to do this. Luckily, she seems to hate beauty pageants (especially those involving children) as much as I do.

The worst part about this pageants is that is almost impossible to make it stop, we all know (or at least anyone in their right mind) that this should be illegal, yet is very difficult to actually ban these kind of events, the damage these kids have is not apparently evident, or easy to prove.

No, I haven't. The commercials are enough to turn my stomach. My experience is purely anecdotal.

It seems like there are 2 types of fathers present in this show.

1) the kind who genuinely seem to get into it. AKA closet pedos.

2) the kind who were told they would support it or they would never get any pussy ever again. So they do just enough to skate by and get laid at the end of the day.

The rest probably did the right thing and went to the bar. Or stayed home.

Usually they're invisible but I've seen one rather effeminate fellow who seemed at least as into it as mom and others who build props and home stages for their little princesses. I haven't noticed a pedo vibe as much as a pervasive cluelessness and general stupidity. Quite a few of these people seem to have plenty of money but it's clear they didn't make it with their brains.

The kids are mostly just your garden-variety spoiled brats but the parents...well, the parents are the reason to watch the show. These people seem to worship trophies.

Well, they're not movie stars but some are definitely doable. More often I get the impression some of them were pretty girls or adolescents whose looks have faded with their youth but are hanging on to the same hairstyles and makeup.

I don't understand why this crap is legal. Politicians are always screaming about protecting the children, but when Hollywood slips a lot of money in their pockets they're suddenly really quiet about it. Hmm, I guess I do understand.

I wasn't talking about that. I was just ragging on "Survivor" and the intelligence of the 'reality' show viewing public, and got the "Stop Liking..." pic. I was being facetious. Survivor sucks, but at least it's not Pedophile Heaven like this show is.

Oh absolutely. They either REALLY like seeing little girls in slutty outfits, or they're not so blatantly closet gays. There really is no excuse for a dad partaking in these things. Hell there really is no excuse for the mother to either, it's shameful the whole way around.
