That was great. Reminded me of some good times since I reacted about the same way as those Man City fans for the Tyree catch and Plax's touchdown. If the Mets ever win a World Series in dramatic fashion I might blast through the ceiling.

Love these kinds of videos after exciting sports wins. For this, I don't think anything beats Paul Merson, former soccer player and current commentator, going nuts in the Sky Sports studio as Manchester City ties it up and then takes the lead.

/lower your volume first, lol

That's the thing I learned about soccer/football: it seems like the first 85 minutes or so of a game is kicking the ball around and flopping occasionally, but holy hell the final 5 minutes or so of a soccer game can be one of the most thrilling sports experiences you'll ever see.

It's a matter of pacing: rather than spacing the action out in short bursts throughout the whole thing, like American football, things tend to get concentrated at the end. Once I figured that out, I liked soccer a lot more.

That was how I reacted when the Saints won it all.

I don't get angry after big losses. I just brood in silence.

I didn't watch the whole thing, about half of it, but maybe someone can tell me this: Did any of these people end up kicking in their TVs?

LOL... Best experience I ever had was in Phoenix at a Steelers bar for the SuperBowl in 2006, the place rented tents and had a Steelers bar that sat 3,500 people(Biggest Steelers fan club outside of Pittsburgh). At the end of the game(I was there with my wife), some super hot chick standing next to us ran up and smacked me solid on the ass, I looked around, she smiled and started cheering...

I shudder to think what she would have done had they lost...

The only ones who sould bask in the glory as if they did something are the players. Any fan and I mean ANY fan who acts like this over a victory by people they don't even know is a jackass. Keep in mind your only contibution is sitting still and watching.

Wow, so you like dead silence after a walk-off home run in the World Series?

I'm cool with some inspiring and appreciative cheering at the park. Acting like an idiot in your own house is just stupid. Watching it on TV is not helping, their victory is not your victory.

btw..baseball is boring, even the walk-off home runs

Actually, teams are civic orginizations. They *are* my victories too. And I doubt any player would feel different.

Cheering at home is a nice diversion from the burdens of life.

Who videotapes themselves watching sports? I'm a huge sports fan, but I've never felt inclined to videotape myself. Do the rest of you set up camera's when watching games?

I liked the kid/guy at the end chanting suck it. I almost have to wonder if it was some mom in Canada/US taping her son watching the game. Is "Suck it" an international thing?

On the positive side there will be the economic stimulus of the former Chelsea fans buying new Man City shirts....

For a US comparison... Man City beating Man United is like the NY Jets beating the NY Giants in the Superbowl.

Grats to Man City.

I still get goosebumps watching that play, and all the reaction videos bars (and people watching the game at home all by themselves) posted. Too bad they couldn't do a whole lot more with that miracle win.

From my own personal experience, within the past year, our local nine won the World Series, thanks in no small part to a stretch run for the ages, an epic pitchers' duel in the NLDS, and perhaps one of the single most dramatic World Series games I'll ever see. I'd be lying if I said I don't get a tiny bit emotional when watching replays of David Freese's HR in the bottom of the 11th.

Perhaps, if the Giants reeled off several Super Bowl wins in the space of a decade, then the Jets decided to get rid of all their old players and coaches and pretty much start all over with high-priced free agents (after the abolition of the salary cap, naturally), including Eli or Osi, then won a Super Bowl against the Giants after 2 hilariously disappointing seasons.
