This kind of crap is why, after 30+ years of riding -- 20+ on the street, I just don't think I can do it anymore. To easy to get killed in a crash you can't possibly avoid or anticipate. In a crash like that, on a motorcycle, you're dead. In a crash like that in my truck (pushing 8000 lbs), they're picking pieces of the Ferrari driver out of my radiator.

I was actually at the Dream Car Sprint last Friday morning. My wife got me a group-on for it, and I finally had a day off to go cash it in. I was driving the silver Ferrari F430 around the Giant's stadium parking lot. When you do get to take the cars around the track, you have one of the employees in the car with you, making sure you don't wreck it. Turns out the guy that was sitting next to me was Joseph Ferretti. Little did I know a few days later he would kill a man. Here are some pics of what they USED to look like:

No, they didn't.

Ferretti and Meyer are employed by Gotham Dream Cars, which produces an event called the Dream Car Sprint, where people can pay $100 to drive a Ferrari or Lamborghini in a closed course at MetLife Stadium. A spokesperson for Gotham Dream Cars said, "At this point, we do not have any comment because it is an ongoing investigation."

The cars were taken without permission, i.e., stolen.

FTFA: The silver and red Ferraris, being driven to a car event at the stadium.

They weren't stolen either

On the one hand, it's stuff like this that made me sell my motorcycle. After riding accident-free for eight years, I finally decided to quit while I was ahead.

On the other hand, you'd have to be driving an armored car to be OK after going head-on with a racing Ferrari. Being on a motorcycle probably just meant that he died...quicker.

Man if only the bike had loud-ass open headers to warn other drivers the two ferraris would be mangled wrecks while the bike wouldn't even have to slow down

They are employed by a company that owns Ferraris.
