(KJRH Tulsa)   You are not allowed to open fire in a Missouri bar merely because they won't serve you any more alcohol. That's really more of a Texas thing   (kjrh.com) divider line 25

Now wait just a minute! We're twice as smart as the people of Texas! Just tell us your idea and we'll shoot at it!

Take it outside. Never start anything inside the bar unless it's absolutely necessary.

Texas law prohibits the carrying of firearms into establishments where 51% or greater income is derived from sales of alcohol served for consumption on the premises. Therefore, such incidents never occur in that state.

I totally agree. i don't like guns, so I always carry a few hand grenades with me - and you DEFINITELY want to be taking those motherf**kers outside.

Not true. Having grown up there, I can attest that Missouri is basically Texas with the addition of Catholicism and meth.

Didn't know ZZ Top was playing Springfield.

I'm confused...St. Louis has Catholicism, but Independence is (was?) the meth capital of the world. Where did you grow up? :o

Clearly Wanda Brown's law defending the rights of gun owners from discrimination from work termination didn't go far enough. Hopefully she'll step up again and introduce another bill which will eliminate future horrible discrimination like what happened in this case.

I would think that there are more Catholics in Texas than in Missouri, considering the proximity to Mexico, a historically Catholic country.

Gotta back you up on the meth, though. There's more corn and less cattle in Missouri, but yeah, otherwise shockingly similar if you think of St. Louis/Columbia as having all the Austin parts.

I grew up in the boonies between St. Louis and Independence, and it was redneck Catholic culture very different from what I think of as the redneck Baptist culture of Texas. The Latino population in Texas is huge, but I don't think they really set the religious culture for the state. In any case, I just call where I came from "Methssouri".
