From the mind that brought you Mark Sanchez, Matt Cavanaugh is proud to present his latest masterpiece... Tim Tebow.

This Fall, be prepared for:

MORE 1 TD-4 INT WINS
MORE 15-12 FIELD GOAL BATTLES
TWICE AS MANY 6 YARD RUNS ON 3RD & 15
AND DOZENS AND DOZENS OF YARDS PASSING

Jet's quarterbacks coach . . .

So, that would be the quarterback coach of "the Jet"?

He must be referring to the guys who work on Tebow's Porsche.

The way his legs move that is. One foot in front of the other. I tell ya, this kid's got a REAL MOTOR.

Everyone looks good in no contact drills without pressure. As soon as Tebus is in the game he will go back to his fruit snake of a loop-dee-dew throwing motion that makes him garbage.

LOL

More than 2 INTs in a game last season

Romo - 1
Tebow - 0

Number of playoff wins in career

Romo - 1 (9 seasons)
Tebow -1 (2 seasons)

2012-05-15 03:59:26 PM
Personally, I hope Tebow applies his well regarded work ethic to his mechanics, becomes a serviceable NFL QB, and prays his way through 10 or 12 seasons as a starter.

The amusement of people losing their shiat over that would be awesome.

2012-05-15 04:00:18 PM
So what if he learns to throw? He still can't make reads and doesn't have the vision to spot open recievers.

2012-05-15 04:04:11 PM
I hope he ends up starting for the Jets. The epic butthurt on Fark will be outstanding.

2012-05-15 04:04:15 PM
Another thought maybe he meant that as a quarterback Tebow would make a good mechanic.

It is true that Tebow doesn't throw a ton of interceptions. It's also true that this is probably because the ball is nowhere near anybody half the time. Completion percentage in 2011: 46.5%.

And Romo has always sucked.

Oh I know, I just think it's funny a cowboys fan manages to run his mouth at all. Hell the cowboys fan in question bet me Tebow wouldn't have 16 TDs last season, and then couldn't pay up when it was time.

Oooo here's another one

Postseason TD - INT

Romo 2-1

Tebow 3-0

I find it amusing that Kyle Orton, the guy Tebow replaced, is now Romo's backup

Also, slightly amusing and slightly infuriating, Andy Dalton has more game started than Tebow. Infuriating because one of Cowherd's knocks on Tebow is that he had not improved after a season (around the time the tebowmania was reaching its peak) but he only started 3 games on 2010.

Can't do much when you're getting limited playtime and then the NFL strike didn't help either.

2012-05-15 04:59:47 PM
It's only May, guys. Don't blow your Tebow wad before the season even starts. You gotta take your time, nice and slow. Wait a few weeks for the inevitable Sanchez mediocrity and then let the chants begin. Start slow and rhythmically "Tebow. Tebow" and then get louder "TEBOW. TEBOW" and faster "TEBOW TEBOW TEBOW" and then scream in ecstasy as our hero, Tim, takes the field!

Oh, God! I can't farking wait!

As an unbashed Tebow detractor, I sincerely hope, and strongly suspect, he will get a chance to prove me wrong. I'm just glad the experiment in whether he can play at the NFL level is taking place on another team than the one I follow. It is pretty great to be able to have a conversation about the Broncos without Tebow being the beginning, middle and end of that conversation.

Hyperbole where art thou. Never said they were failures. Including Romo. I am suggesting SB wins, then playoff wins, then stats are my priorities when deciding who was "best" at *most* positions. That doesn't mean there isn;t room for anomalies and such. No, I do not think Trent Dilfer is better then Dan Marino, etc, etc, etc.

The Broncos better keep that guy protected. Elway's dumb ass somehow managed to go get a guy who has a worse completion % and no wins as a starter to be the backup.

I think our conversation is more normal. I was sort of addressing the "Romo sucks" crowd. He doesn't. He's a very good QB who hasn't won a Superbowl yet. He has a playoff win against a division opponent but his team's recent failings are due to factors outside his control, namely the fact that his defense was terribad.

Sure, he makes mistakes. But the "Romo sucks" people don't watch Football or just don't like the guy.

Yeah, I'm less than impressed with a number of Elway's other moves. "There is no plan B"...yeah there is Mr. Elway, if the plan A fails, your ass being fired is plan B.

Totally. I can't believe he didn't go get some receivers. If Caleb Hanie sees the field, he's got less to work with at the receiver position than Tebow did, with Royal leaving. Eh, maybe Adam Weber makes a better showing this season. I admit I wanna see the 6 foot 7 kid play, I wanna know if he looks like a giraffe out there.

Agreed. Don't know how true it is, but I've heard that Osweiler is Elway's son Jack's best friend. Sincerely hope that didn't play into the draft, but the Broncos have a 2-3 year window with Manning to make a run at a Super Bowl and they STILL have a bunch of holes, especially on defense. The Broncos draft didn't make sense.
