Israel is not a US ally. We have no treaty of alliance with them. We have no obligation to come to their defense, nor do they to come to ours. Calling them an ally, let alone our best or closest ally, is an insult to our actual allies around the world.

So they've developed tech. Big deal, I want to see what they have done as an "ally". I want to see where they have returned the amount of military or financial support that we have given them. I want to see how many troops they sent to Iraq, for example. Seems like all they do is taunt other countries, fly into their airspace and bomb their nuke plants and then hope that we threaten these other countries so that they won't retaliate.
