Lying on your resume never pays.

And by never, I mean sometimes. Especially if you have executive hair.

For lying on his resume? Who DOESN'T have some kind of . . . . exaggeration on their resume?

This is why you should never fluff your resume?

They find out and only let you keep 7 million.

/is now officially encouraged to fluff.

Poor guy. My heart so bleeds piss and buttermilk for him. But look at the bright side. He can take that $7M and invest it in Facebook and be a billionaire in a week.

2012-05-15 02:36:26 PM
but he said he never gave them a resume. Which, really, i would say CEO for a major company probably wouldn't send in his resume

Perhaps the "fail" tag has been misapplied here, or, more likely, was applied in an ironic fashion.

There's a difference between being grammatically tactical about things you have done, especially when trying to utilize the same skillset for two different fields and/or applications, and claiming to have earned something you have not.

Yahoo could have required him to give back $7 million of the cash and stock he received after taking the helm in January.

But Yahoo (YHOO, Fortune 500) said late Monday that its separation agreement with Thompson allows him to keep those payments.

Because there might have been a long, drawn-out court battle if they hadn't agreed?

Can you narrow it down a bit?

Did he do the job that he was hired for? If yes I do not see what the big deal is! It's not like he was hired to be a brain surgeon and only had a semester in first aid.

2012-05-15 06:01:21 PM
Yahoo got what it deserved. They hire the moron who ran Paypal, the world's biggest scam.

/And fark him for using his cancer diagnosis for sympathy.

He was great in "The Kids In The Hall".
