This was not the score I expected.

Go Pacers!

Back in my West Coast days, I would. But games starting after 10 pm when I have work the next morning, between two teams I hate? No thanks. But I am "rooting" for the Spurs, as minimally as someone can root for a team.

Gunny Highway: Hibbert probably should have just grabbed the vall

Probably, but always being the only guy in against multiple rebounders from the other team will condition you to do things like that.

Well, this game seems interesting.

/dammit Chalmers, I know you fouled him but don't volunteer it.

Hibbert being out is huge for the Heat getting rebounds - that's damn near the whole comeback.

Well, LeBron has actually decided to drive the ball. During the 3rd, I seem to remember Chalmer doing most of the driving.

I do love me some Duncan face.

Maybe I should take back my ref comments. Granger would have been out if the refs had not reversed the double T.

2012-05-15 09:24:00 PM
Damn, that bank shot was nasty. I was going to make fun of how off that shot was, too.

/also, nice by Barbosa. I remember when you were more consistently good, Leandro!

I love that when a guy is on the ground with the ball, literally the only two calls they will ever make are jump ball and time out.

Sliding on your ass apparently isn't traveling, and being tackled isn't a foul.

2012-05-15 09:24:48 PM
Also, damn West.

Every time I hear the last name I get "Wild Wild West" stuck in my head.

That one's weird, as is the "if you come down on the guy AFTER he shoots in the post, it's not a foul" rule. Though if you come down and make any sort of contact with a jump shooter, it's a foul.

2012-05-15 09:31:18 PM
Well, I'll be damned. Looks like the Pacers can win in Miami.

2012-05-15 09:33:27 PM
Goddammit Battier, if you're not even going to look at the shot when you have an open 3, why are you on the court?

2012-05-15 09:34:04 PM
This game is just pathetic. Teams can't even hit FTs.

2012-05-15 09:35:04 PM
hahaha. Oh wow.

2012-05-15 09:35:20 PM
Skip Bayless just blew his load.

2012-05-15 09:35:32 PM
Wouldve been better if crowd was chanting MVP as he missed both.

Anyone remember when that happened to Duncan, then Marbury took the 2nd bricked FT downcourt and hit a 3 at the buzzer? Good times.

2012-05-15 09:35:45 PM
Lebron will never hear the end of those 2 free throws.

2012-05-15 09:36:26 PM
so ugly, yet so awesome.

2012-05-15 09:37:24 PM
Haha, I wonder if Bird is thinking "Pathetic"

2012-05-15 09:37:41 PM
Even Shaq is embarrassed by this display of FT shooting.

2012-05-15 09:38:00 PM
Rebirthmusik: Lebron will never hear the end of those 2 free throws.

The only chance is that he personally wins the game over the last 32 seconds with something like a 3 and then blocking the Pacers' last shot. But even then, people will say "he wouldn't have even BEEN in that position if he'd just hit his free throws!"

2012-05-15 09:39:10 PM
Hmmmm already saying you're starting the next game on TBS?

If it goes to OT, I'm declaring conspiracy.

Haha, Wade was expecting a foul called even before he got the ball.

2012-05-15 09:40:20 PM
This has to be the most retarded basketball I've ever seen in the last three minutes of a playoff game.

2012-05-15 09:40:56 PM
If you're Wade, you're kind of upset at missing that, but you know LeBron's going to take all the sh*t for the game, so it doesn't matter that much.

/stop f*cking batting the ball around, morans

2012-05-15 09:41:20 PM
I love the action cam on TNT's website. Wade goes to the ground and stays there until the whistle blows on the other end.

2012-05-15 09:41:39 PM
Pacers may actually win one.

IT'S OVER!

Pacers win!

Great split.

2012-05-15 09:43:22 PM
WTF @ "24 second buzzer goes off"

lol

Maybe if Chalmers weren't trying to draw a foul he could've gotten a better shot.

2012-05-15 09:43:33 PM
Did someone shoot Chalmers while he was in the air?

2012-05-15 09:43:42 PM
I realize that no one's going to have any sympathy for the Heat here, but how do you miss contact to the elbow AND taking the three point shooter's legs out?

2012-05-15 09:44:49 PM
Well, Miami has still never swept an Eastern opponent (won every series 4-1). Gonna be tough to keep up the 1 win for opponents thing if they're going to play like that.

2012-05-15 09:44:57 PM
Hey Manu, did you hear that the Pacers beat the Heat in Miami?

I just checked the DVR to make sure...there's no contact. he flopped on a potential game-tying 3.

I think it was quite clear that no one on either team was interested in making free throws, so why call a shooting foul?

You're right, he fooled me. There may have been a tap on the elbow, but I should probably watch the replay before making idiotic posts.

Wow. I am shocked and thrilled.

Local radio guy just described the Eastern Conference Playoffs as "prehistoric." I dont understand it but I get it.

Go C's! Go Pacers!

2012-05-15 09:46:50 PM
Problem for the Pacers is that everyone is going to chalk this game up to the whole Bosh thing. Really, the Pacers have outplayed the Heat except for that thing in game 1 that had all their team in foul trouble (mind you they still had a shot at the end).

If the Pacers get any sort of equal reffing at home, they might split or have a shot at both. If the game 1 officiating comes back in any form, they are toast (Bosh doesn't really matter in that case).

flop show time!
