We politicians are used to not being the most popular of people.

Yes, you must be used to people calling you a complete d!ckhe@d I suppose.

What is this?! What happened to my cutlery? My table is covered in plastic coffee stirrers!?!

Yes I know, but at least you've got a choice now. I mean they may all be complete crap but now you've got a choice ... that's what's important, THE CHOICE!!! ... (Starting to shout and strangle man)

KiplingKat872: thisispete:

I read in Stephen Fry's autobiography that he felt particularly fortunate that he has never had any sexual attraction towards Hugh Laurie as it would have put a strain on their collaborative efforts and maybe their friendship.

/There's a Wodehouse omnibus that has a particularly well written introduction by Hugh Laurie worth tracking down.

What? Two people can...just be friends? A gay man can just be friends with another man?!?

That's not what Hollywood told me! That's not what Christian Right told me!

*Mind asploding*

/sarcasm off.

Will look for that edition of Woodehouse, thanks. I'm reading mine for free from Project Gutenberg.

Have you read The Gun Seller? Freaking hilarious and good adventure to boot.

I really, really wish that public schools would throw Great Gatsby in the trash and use P.G. Woodehouse instead. Then you might get kids to pay attention in class for once.

I just started watching this on Netflix and they removed it.

Pretty pissed about that.

I'm sure the resulting voice work will be wonderful, and I remain a fan, but I really, really would prefer some actual "A Bit Of Fry & Laurie". Or "Jeeves & Wooster."

Or "Blackadder." Good lord, I would like some new "Blackadder." They could do the Thatcher era, with Miranda Richardson as the Iron Lady...

Thanks,

I'd love to see Laurie as Professor Higgins, and Frye as Colonel Pickering in a My Fair Lady remake...

/C'mon, Dover, move yer bloomin' arse!

Is it wrong that I looked at this and thought someone had put Busy Phillips and Billy West in a show together?
