My theory says that it's been almost a thousand years since the last major infusion of invaders, and that has a lot to do with it. Now they're going through the Roman Growing Pains, meaning that they're going to be outbred by conquered "barbarian" peoples now living in Britain. It'll take a few more hundred years for the changes to propagate from the Indians, Pakistanis, Arabs, and Africans and into the gen pop.

I'm not saying she's ugly, because she's very pretty, but I don't know how you can go through reading that and have your thoughts immediately jump to her being a 'hottie' and thinking she wants to bone her students.
