Not an NHL fan, but yeah... its nice to see fresh blood.

Also, I really dig OKC in the NBA. Playing the game the right way and all that.

I'm pulling for the Nuggets. Because screw the Lakers and its almost like I'm still cheering on the Knicks.

The Lakers dragged the series on so they could get Artest back for OKC.

I want to see the Lakers and Clippers move on to the next round just to see the clusterfark the Staples Center has to deal with.

If the Clippers couldn't pull off the win at Staples I don't see them getting past Memphis unless Gasol and Randolph just fall off. Memphis has more talent at 4 out of 5 spots on the floor and the 1 spot the Clippers have the advantage (Chris Paul) he's not 100%. That and the reduction in flop calls they'll get away from home should be enough to put them away if Memphis doesn't pull any crap like they did in game 1.

It's so hilarious that people watch this joke of a sport. Putting an object into a net. Yeah, that's original. Watch hockey, you clowns.

Go Nuggets! I'm amazed we are playing a game seven after how poorly we started the series. George Karl did an incredible job turning his team around.

Hey, any man who can keep Javale McGee on the right side of the court at all times is doing one hell of a coaching job.

Pacers in 0 after Heat plane crashes into the Alps

Whoops, said it in the wrong thread...

LOL @ Vogel getting fined before his series even starts for whining about refs giving the other team all the calls

The Alps? This time of year? . I would have believed the Andes. But the Alps. Get real Mike, it's like you don't even follow basketball.

Nice first quarter by the 6ers. look quicker and fresher than the Celtics. Deeper too.

I'll still go with Celtics in 6.

Well if you're not willing to spend hundreds of millions of dollars of taxpayer money that could have went to schools or infrastructure to build a new arena so one billionare dickhead can make more money then you aren't supportive fans and deserve what you get.

I'm not sure who to root for in the 6ers-Celts series. But I'd love to see either one beat the Heat.

KG is having a great game so far.

Once you go Celtics and Nuggets, you never go back.

I'm a lifelong Celtics fan, but right now I would TOTALLY be thrilled if we somehow end up with a Pacers - Spurs final.

Since the Hawks are out. Go Anybody But Miami, Boston, or LA (both)! Would like to see OKC take it all.

At what point do people get over the NBA leaving Seattle? Yes, it sucks. But by my count, five other teams in these playoffs have moved at least once.

Somebody going to post a Vancouver Grizzlies logo?

Rochester Royals and Buffalo Braves! Never Forget!!!!

Oops, I'm wrong. The 6ers moved once, too. 6 other playoff teams have moved.

It's a shiatty fact of life in American pro sports. If you really hate what happened to the Sonics, stop buying Starbucks.

I want a Nuggets/Sonics rematch.

Go Nuggs! Go Oklahoma Sonics!

Difference between a team that had been in its location for 40 years, won the city's only championship since WWI and was always well-attended and a team that was in a location for 6 years, sucked all of 'em, and was moved out quickly.

Then again, the Grizzlies got f*cked in their own way: "Both the Canadian teams were hampered by the NBA's decision to deny them one of the top five picks in the draft. The teams would not be allowed a top draft pick in the following three seasons, even if they should won the lottery. The teams were also hindered from using their full salary cap the first two seasons.[4] In the first draft, the Grizzlies were sixth and selected center Bryant Reeves"

Damn, they can't take anyone good from any other team, they can't get a high pick for three years, and they can't go near the salary cap limit? It's like they wanted them to move right away.

The theft of the Sonics from Seattle is a well-documented scandal, a bit different than the Grizzlies.

Damn Celtics being seemingly the only team smart enough to foul in transition when up 3 with seconds to go and Sixers not just throwing it at the hoop as they heard the whistle. (Not that the refs are going to give them the "in the motion" call in Boston.)

2012-05-12 10:34:06 PM
Celtics seem to be trying to set a record this year for winning the most playoff games by the smallest average margin.
