Not a Tremors installment? Then I'll pass.

2012-05-12 01:49:16 AM
I know the reason. Because ABC knows rednecks and housewives and redneck housewives love Reba, and ratings equal money.

Ah, well. Good excuse for a "redheads hotter than Reba" thread. I'll start.

That's why.

Something about Reba McEntire's face makes me angry.

So long as they don't bring back that f*cking theme song.

Gaaaaaaaah...

Because "Fancy" is the best damn country song of all time? "I might have been born just plain white trash, but Fancy was my name!"

I freaking love Reba.

2012-05-12 02:24:41 AM
Will she again play a single mom who works too hard, who loves her kids and never stops?

I'm not a country music fan, but "Reba" was a great show

I like Reba. She's pretty and spunky. Not a country fan, but she's got pretty good comic timing.

How about giving Bonnie Raitt a show while you're at it?

Even though I've never heard it before, I immediately envisioned it in Reba McEntire's singing voice. Curse you! ;-/

Reba always looks like she has a cold.

But Bobbie Gentry wrote and recorded the song in 1969. Reba's was a cover version.

For some unknown reason? Uhh, subby is a douchebag who doesn't realize that the show "Reba" has the same staying-power as "I Love Lucy" has. Reba McEntire has proven herself to be a wonderful comedic actress.

2012-05-12 05:42:08 AM
Never underestimate "the Hee-Haw demographic." The makers of Yosemite Sam mudflaps pay big bucks for advertising.

2012-05-12 05:43:05 AM
Reba McEntire can get TV shows because she is actually talented and funny...which you cannot say for about 90% of the bots now on TV.

Although not a fan of her singing, Reba can put on one very entertaining show in concert.

2012-05-12 07:06:32 AM
She's hot and I'd give up something important to motorboat her Tig Ole Bitty's!!

Of all the shows I roadied in college, Reba was the classiest. Not a hint of diva, would eat with the locals and gab about soap operas. More MIDI equipment than any other band though. That amused me.

2012-05-12 07:15:21 AM
Reba must have incriminating photos of some Disney board member(s).

2012-05-12 07:36:13 AM
Sometime back in the late 1980's, I went to see Reba at some little outdoor amphitheater, as part of an ongoing concert series. The other acts would roll up, realize the audience was about 400 and put on a small show. Reba put on a show for a friggin 20,000 audience arena. The only thing toned down was the actual sound. She changed outfits at least 4 times, light displays, back up choreography, the whole nine yards. And then stayed to sign autographs. I was not a big fan until that night.

The thing I've always wondered about Reba McEntire is..

Where the fark is her top lip?

I watched the show in the past. Reruns still come on FX constantly. I do not watch them.

Was there ever a show that so openly displayed domestic abuse? She beat up on Steve Howey's character routinely (not to mention Christopher Rich's). How was that so openly tolerated? If he'd been the one hitting her upside the head, NOW and the ACLU would have been all over the network and show's producers.

Shameful. I like Reba as a singer, but for her to continue to portray a man-bashing feminazi was just wrong. Even Roseanne didn't sink to that level.

I'm a Reba fan but, during the early years, she did look like George Jones in drag.

Am I the only one who RTFA? Reba (Tig ole Bitties) and Sara Rue (Ginormous Breasticles) in the same series? I believe I'll be tuning in.

Just asking.

another vote for very good comic timing

OTOH, 5 syllables from a 3 letter word is a bit much IMHO

Same here. I first caught it accidentally, my sister would always have it on. It's something I never thought I'd watch, but I have to admit, I did like it. Though more because Steve Howey is funny and Joanna Garcia is hot.

I like Reba- from what I read\hear she's a pretty cool person- and she's a pretty good 'host',- but dayum she could not act her way out of a paper bag. Stick to singing honey.

I am not a country music fan, but I think she is just adorable. I want to carry her around in my pocket and look at her when I feel sad.

She always looks like she just cleaned up after a bukkakki party.

Not a big fan of country music, but she does seem like a genuinely nice person.

LOL. The super pixelization from being resized, maybe with some JPEG artifacting, combined with the empty area being larger than the "image" makes this the best picture I've seen today.
Thank you.

I got coerced into going to a Reba concert years ago. The opening act was a couple of guys with big hats and bigger belt buckles (can't remember their name). By the time they were done i was hating life and convinced no amount of sex was worth the suffering. Reba, however was a pleasant surprise. Great show, awesome voice, and a very nice and funny lady.

she was great in Tremors 1

She makes covers better, though. Like "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia." When I'm driving alone in my car, I can't help but belt that one out like I am Reba when I hear it on the radio.

/"Turn on the Radio," on the other hand, is an awful song that she never should have recorded.

Hearing that hick accent of hers breaks me out in hives.

I'll second this notion. Steve Howey was great and I think Joanna Garcia was a little present the producers threw in for all the guys who were stuck watching the show with their wives.
