Really, this is a surprise to people? I thought everyone knew, but it was just such a tired internet thing that it was rarely mentioned.

It was part of the Venom delivery system. Venom is a super fast acting steroid, giving you a temporary "Hulk out" moment. I think it messed up your lungs or you would need a lot of pure oxygen to counteract the increased muscle output. It's been awhile.

Also,Anne looks sexier with that cut for some reason.

To hell with Bane. I'm more interested in getting more pics of a short-haired Anne Hathaway in a bikini.

Yeah... still not convinced this is going to be a good movie.

I actually feel bad for the actor in the Bane mask. Not only is it stupid looking, but it has to be uncomfortable as hell to wear the thing.

we don't know

in the comics he was some sort of mexican and he worse a wrestling style mask with a tube running to the back which fed a super steroid into his brain

My Spider-Man 3 sense is tingling at all the plot threads and characters. Batman/Wayne, Catwoman/Kyle, Bane, Gordon, Ra's/Talia Al Ghul, Jospeh Gordon-Levitt's character, Miranda Tate's character (has she even been in the trailers?), Lucius Fox, Alfred..... It just feels like since it's the last film they're throwing the kitchen sink at us.

I have faith in Nolan based off his previous work, but I hope like hell they aren't trying to do too much with this one.

Not returning from Dark Knight: Rachael, Dent, Joker, and let's count the mob as one character.

Rises doesn't feel like it will be much more packed than that. Dent had a ton of screen time.

What is the worst movie Nolan has ever made? The Prestige? I'll wait until he makes at least one crap movie before I bet against him.

Decillion: Not returning from Dark Knight: Rachael, Dent, Joker, and let's count the mob as one character.

A valid point about Dent. What I probably should have said though was while there's still a larger amount of characters than in Dark Knight, the concern is every single one of these characters have to have a plot that wraps up as this is the last film. Throwing in Bane, Catwoman, and whoever is played by Gordon-Levitt and Tate, plus the return of the Al Ghul clan is a lot to handle while you still have to come up with endings for all the established characters.

Maybe my point is I'm just wondering (without having seen anything on the plot outside the trailers) if it's really necessary to add so many new plots to the final film. Like I said, I have faith in Nolan after what he's done with the franchise so I'm certainly not complaining. Just really hope this one goes out with a bang.

I want to see TDKR, but I'm less excited to see it than some of the other films out there. Even though I liked the films, I think I'm just burned out over the circle jerks over TDK and Inception.

Nolan has never made a bad film, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this. That said, I think that Catowman, as a character, is nice to look at and not much else. I hope I'm not supposed to believe that Hathaway is some kind of ass kicking machine.

FeedTheCollapse: Inception.

I'm really surprised that Inception was as big a deal as it was. It was a well executed movie, but deep down, it was really just a remake of Ocean's 11 with less interesting characters, a little more grit in the seams, and a bunch of mumbo-jumbo to distract the viewer from the fact that it was just a pretty basic heist movie.

I'm not being sexist or anything on this; female badasses have a rich history in film, especially Chinese kung fu movies. One of the best examples in American film is probably Linda Hamilton in T2.

The problem Catwoman has is that the character demands a high level of sexiness. So, while I love Julie Newmar, Lee Merriwether, Ertha Kitt, and Michelle Pfeiffer (I never saw the Halle Berry film, but she's hot too), I never believed any one of them could kick my ass. Same problem with Hathaway. She looks like she hits like a girl, you know?

I think way too much of the hype had to do with it being a "Smart" film. It was obnoxious how many people would pat themselves on the back because they saw what they perceived to be a smart movie.... It was a good film, but it was a little too explanatory for me; like they completely laid out every nook and cranny in the dialogue rather than work it out naturally as the plot progresses. Otherwise, yeah, not too different from your standard heist film.

But where's the Venom stored? It doesn't look like the mask is actually connected to anything... it just wraps itself around his head.

but, michelle pfieffer was best catwoman.

i think anne hathaway can be pretty, but she looks very vanilla. pfieffer looks like a cat. she is an outstandingly beautiful woman. and she had a beauty that was menacing. not necessarily kickass, but evil.

anne hathaway can never look like a villain.
