Oh, okay, so there are good people on both sides, but you're only bad if you call out the people who oppose it on their bullshiat. Got it.

I don't know, when it comes to the sanctity of marriage, I think I'll go with the triumvirate of the grandson of a polygamist, a thrice-divorced talk radio host and the single mother.

Yep. It's a real poll, and it really is still there on the Fox News page.

So the man who told us that gay marriage would lead to wide spread polygamy and turtle marriage is recanting? Or is he pretending he never said any of that stuff before?

Uh, trust me, things like herpes and hpv can be given and gotten without symptoms, or with symptoms so mild that they are unnoticeable.

He said he agrees with Obama's Federalist position on the matter, not necessarily that he endorses gay marriage.

That said, I hope Donatello makes you toss his salad, Bill'O.

Yes - This means you think it will affect his poll numbers.
No - This means you think it won't have an impact on his poll numbers.

Duh!

Marital status matters for all sorts of federal reasons. Eventually, it will have a federal definition, states rights be damned.

RINO.

It has been a long long decade, and I never thought Bill O'Reilly would one day be one of the more slightly reasonable republican pundits. But here we are. I'm sure he'll derp it up in the next article.

It feels bad to be told you're a bigot just because you hold bigoted beliefs. Conservatives seem to be operating mostly on emotion nowadays so what feels bad can't be true to them.

While I am pleased that the President expressed his support for same sex marriages, his stance on the issue is terrible. Either you believe the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment means that there is a constitutionally protected right to same sex marriage, or you don't. Apparently the President's opinion is that same sex marriage is not a constitutionally protected right. That makes his stance on the issue no different than Romney's or OReilly's. There are many things that should be left to the states, but defenses of fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution aren't among them. I doubt President Obama or Attorney General Holder would be comfortable leaving the equal protection of racial minorities to the states (even though in modern America, racial minorities are in far less danger of having their rights tread upon by the states than homosexuals are). But for some reason the President is just fine leaving the rights of the LGBT community to the whims of the state.

Really, if you can give a completely logical, reasonable and rational reason to say that a woman's choice of marriage partner is fixed from birth to only include men, and that a man is only also restricted to choosing a women to be a marriage partner, if you can explain why this blatant sexual discrimination is right and proper, I will not call you a bigot, homophobe and a terrible person. But none of you can, at least yet. So, tough shiat, you're a bigot.

I am for marriage-equality, but I have to admit when I read your response my first thought was "wait, is marriage really a civil right?"

The Googles told me yep.

Just thought I'd share for anyone as clueless about this as I was (if there is anyone, but I wouldn't bet a month of TF on it)
