I saw Eddie Money in KC a few years back and the last song of the set was take me home tonight. And then he encored with Take me home tonight. I am not sure he noticed.

Mine too. "Papa" Ed Cassidy was about 45 when I saw them with the original lineup including his stepson. He was 89 last week, and was still drumming through at least 2009. As good as Randy California was, "Mr. Skin" was an act to behold in his own right.

Got some Jo Jo Gunne and Jay Ferguson records even. 1400 still on vinyl...

Me too! 1984, Them or Us tour. I still have the tour shirt, assuming it hasn't decomposed at the back of the drawer it's in.

it's the concert I'm happiest to have seen, if that makes any sense. And that includes Nirvana at D.C.'s 9:30 Club in 1990, which is a close second.

KISS in October of 1996 at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Deftones opened, I had just turned 14. Full makeup, costumes, original lineup, it was awesome.

Yeah, that's the one. I rocked out to PM5K, left in disgust for Papa Roach (ughhhhhh) and came back for a relatively decent Korn show.

Yeah, PM5K was great at that show. I remember I bought their album after that. Papa Roach, of course, sucked. I was 14, just started my first band, and a huuuuuge Korn fan, so their performance was mind blowing to me. Just a few years later, I wouldn't even admit to liking them, lol.

Eric Burdon & the Animals at the Cow Palace in 1964, The Beau Brummels were there too. Saw the Stones at the San Jose Civic Center shortly thereafter along with 5000 or so screaming teenage girls (who are now grandmothers). Went to many concerts at the original Filmore Ballroom and the Avalon Ballroom as well (Led Zepplin was REALLY LOUD there). Lots of others since too.

Went to a couple of CBGB Sunday Matinees before that, though. Agnostic Front, August 21, 1988 (the show of their live album) and before that Side By Side, Gorilla Biscuits, Wrecking Crew, don't remember who else. That first CBGB show was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
