Yes, incinerate civilians. THAT won't bring the entire world down on our heads.

Maybe if they spent more time rubbing one out they wouldn't fantasize about rubbing out a bunch of other people

Ya know, that part of the country still refers to the West as "crusaders." Referencing 1000 years ago's mistaken attempt at genocidal invasion.

Nothing like fueling their own holy war fan-fic with some of your own, you miserable neocon traitors.

I think most of the world is looking at this country and wondering WTF is wrong with us.

This guy is not the only far-right nut case in the military, either. If you haven't found something to terrify you about our future, there is a candidate.

Yes... but this would take it from "WTF" to "Okay, time to put down the rabid dog" and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have a hard time building coalition, as it were.

Boy, a religious war right about now sounds fantastic. There is nothing like showing we've all moved forward as a species like an attempt to wipe out an entire group of people based on their religion and culture. This should be super exciting too now that we can add nukes into the mix.

You do realize that things that are taught in war college classes aren't actual operative plans. Its like when we draw up plans to invade canada and such. It is only an exercise as to how you could use your forces.

Islam is a violent religion bent on destruction! That's why in order to fight them, we need to lay entire cities and countries to waste and exterminate millions of innocent civilians - to show how non-violent and peaceful we are.

Army Lt. Col. Matthew A. Dooley

Remember that name. God forbid Romney gets elected, I believe we will see the first full bird colonel serving as Army Chief of Staff. You heard it here first.

I often think of America as a really fat girl in a skimpy outfit. She goes out in public, proud of her appearance, and when others question her choices, she walks on, confident in the fact that she looks damn sexy and that everyone else is just jealous.

I guess Iran really DOES need a nuclear deterrent.

"We have now come to understand that there is no such thing as 'moderate Islam,'" Dooley noted in a July 2011 presentation (.pdf), which concluded with a suggested manifesto to America's enemies. "It is therefore time for the United States to make our true intentions clear. This barbaric ideology will no longer be tolerated. Islam must change or we will facilitate its self-destruction."

So it must change... but it can't change. Great logic work there, Delbert.

So how exactly do we bring christians to heel in this country? They've hijacked everything and are apparently planning on a Neo Crusades with our money and blood.

NO! that would be highly immoral and wrong.

We are going to kill EVERYONE, and let Jesus Christ Our Lord And Savior (TM)(R)(C)(All rights Reserved), sort them out.

To be fair, didn't only the Salvation Army draw up that plan?

It's refreshing to see a course offered that doesn't teach you to hate America, but rather how to be hated.

This is why we can't have nice things!

Seriously, this guy is appalling and needs to be marched out of the military pronto. Guys like this also believe a military coup is inevitable and for the greater good.

The emblem for a Colonel (and Captain in the Navy) is an eagle.

They accomplished most of their goals.

1. Took the fight from Europe to Africa/Asia
2. Partially united the fragmented, smaller European monarchies
3. Sent their unemployed mercenaries somewhere else

LineNoise: You do realize that things that are taught in war college classes aren't actual operative plans.

You're right. Some of it is racist propaganda meant to poison the troops and their officers.

"We have now come to understand that there is no such thing as 'moderate Islam,'" Dooley noted in a July 2011 presentation

One of the reasons why our high echelon officers in WWII didn't believe the rumors
about Nazi extermination programs was the terrible propaganda issued against Germany in WWI.

Colonle insignia is an Eagle. Calling them a full bird refers to that insignia rather then the lower ranked Lt; Col which has the insignia of an Oak leaf.

Islam has already declared total war on the West. The only question is whether the west will fight back. So far, it's not looking good.

I got no problem saying Islam has problem with fundamentalism (there is no major non-fundamentalist branch) and with extremism. But it is farking retarded to think you can fix it with war. It is even more retarded to think you are any better than their extremists if you think it is ok to try and do so.

So few people are capable of thinking strategically generally, it's not surprising that one finds a similar constraint in the military. Okay, let's say we give this guy a magic wand and he gets to wage total unlimited war, with no budgetary constraints. Okay, then what? Well, you have one third of the world against you and your friends will be embarrassed to be seen with you. How, exactly, is this in the long term interests of the US?

They may be shunting this guy into a corner writing idiot reports about impossible strategies because he'shiat his Peter Principle limit.

2012-05-11 11:03:27 AM
I'm not against Sherman-style total war as a means to an end, but fer gods' sakes, we aren't at war with Islam!

I always anthropomorphised the US as Nelson Muntz: fat, ugly and stupid, but can totally kick your ass.

So we generally just mind our own business and hope you choose some other kid to beat up at recess.

FTFA: "Some of these actions offered for consideration here will not be seen as 'political correct' in the eyes of many," Dooley adds. "Ultimately, we can do very little in the West to decide this matter, short of waging total war."

I love how genocide is not "political correct." Like its on par with calling Chinese people Oriental.

If they have been fighting a holy war over a grievance 1000 years old, nothing we do is gonna change that homeslice....
