Horford flopped like this was soccer.

Wait, why MAKE the second?!?

2012-05-10 10:41:08 PM
That second free throw make was the stupidest thing I've seen today. And I talked to some mods at Gamefaqs.

Yup, Welcome to the second round, Celtics.

That was a pathetic final minute for the Hawks. These guys do not know how to play smart basketball.

Free throws don't lie.

Don't worry, Josh. Some day you'll be able to make 20 foot fade aways.

Congratulations Celtics. I still hate you though.

Celtics in 6.

76ers needed no Derrick Rose and retared decision making by the dude who pases it to Asik to win. Even Asik looked at the dude like "seriously, you gave it to ME?!"

Dear Lakers:

The game has started. The shootaround period ended several minutes ago. You can try your hand at defense if you like.

The question is can Denver survive the Lakers run. They won't miss forever.

2012-05-10 11:08:44 PM
I believe the following...

If you are the underdog, and you beat the "better team" or higher seed in the playoffs, the lower seed should have the higher seeds luxuries as of who they play next. To put it simple, the Sixers should be the #1 seed now.

/ Sixers fan.
// Called this upset prior to the start of the playoffs.
/// The Sixers can take the Celtics just the same. They just don't have someone to frustrate and athletic enough to shut down or contain Lebron, but could slow Wade with AI, Holiday, or Turner.
//// If the Sixers would of drawn the Pacers in the first round, I believe they would of lost 4-2. It's all about individual match-ups.
// Doug Collins should of won coach of the year last year, hopefully he gets some votes this year.

Can't FARK add bullets instead of slashies?

2012-05-10 11:16:27 PM
Well, hopefully the Lakers stopped the bleeding.

Watched my first NBA game tonight, the Celtics looked horrible, the Hawks looked worse.

And was the sixers really an upset? Isnt the Bulls team essentially a MASH unit now with 2 or 3 of their stars out? Its pretty much set to be Miami advancing to the finals again since there is nobody else to challenge them in the slightest.

Bynum again is showing how easy close out games are...just as i was happy the Lakers kept him over getting Dwight, i now feel ambiguous.

it's early, and Kobe's playing fine. hope Bynum's got a basket to go in while i have typed this.

He has to play better than fine at this point. Fine won't cut it.

i agree, and i think the last few minutes he heard you. damn, he has been sweet. Bynum and Gasol...really like Hill though.

I think the whole team was standing around watching to see how Kobe played. Of course, while they were doing that, Denver ripped off 13 straight points. But I think they've found a rhythm and we'll see how it goes from here. Still, spotting a team 13 points at home is no way to close out a series.

Nuggets bangin 3's all of a sudden.

2012-05-10 11:50:22 PM
Kobe looked like a zombie coming off the court.

Well, that last call was BS, but it's only two points. I still have hope! Go Lakers!

2012-05-10 11:54:02 PM
I'm suprised the Bulls went out. They seemed to be one of the best teams in the league even without Rose.

You can still have hope, but really? That was clearly either a basket or goaltending on Gasol.

50% shooting and 8 of 11 3s. We should be up 20. I'm a little nervous.

I'm wonder what they're pumping kobe full of right now. Dude probably looks like a porcupine of IVs.

It was a shortened season, so I believe that many of these records are not a reflection of a typical NBA season. And yes, the Bulls were beat up, but were beat up in the series, both teams play tough defense.

The Heat, all arrogance set aside, are obviously the most talented team in the NBA. It looked as if they were toying with the Knicks, and the Knicks are very talented, but they also had lost several important components prior and during their series and might of made the Heat stumble a little, but don't believe they had enough to pull out the series.

The only team that will frustrate the Heat are the Celtics out of the East. Sometimes age helps in these types of situations. The Celtics certainly have an abundance of just that. They can also drain the 3 ball all day, which the Heat can't.

I don't know if I answered your question.

Fluids, glucose, and a couple of local 19-year-old hotel employees for good measure

Sloppy by Kobe but not intentional.

Farheid's hand actually hit the rim, too. That's offensive interference. Weird play, so I'm not too bummed. Of course, now Kobe has a Flagrant, so...yeah. It's all moot.
