hobblekitty: FirstNationalBastard: Looks like Otunga will probably be back on Monday.

Also, can't they hire better artists for the courtroom?

[www.thenational.ae image 462x308]

There have to be some good comic book artists out there that need work.

Perhaps I can provide some insight as a professional artist as to why courtroom artists never seem to get it quite right...

Courtroom art is basically a "gesture" sketch. Designed to capture the moment when cameras are not allowed in the courtroom. I would wager a guess that entire drawing took no more than five minutes. Not enough time to render realistic likenesses for many artists, just enough time to capture the scene and the mood so the media has something visual to represent the proceedings.

Comic art is a completely different animal. Much more time consuming and frequently a group effort. You are a male farker so I assume you are familiar with comic books. ;-) The pencil artist might do a very loose gesture type sketch, or something more detailed depending on their particular style. The inker however has to be very detailed (and anally tidy, again depending on the style of the overall art). While they do have a deadline, they have more time to work on each individual page than a courtroom artist does.

Basically what I am trying to say in too many words, courtroom artists are "fine artists" doing sketches. Comic artists are "graphic designers" creating a finished work from start to finish.

I could go on and on about this but I won't because it's a wrestling thread and I have already threadjacked enough. :-)

What does Cenakitty think of all this?

I'm not sure actually. You would probably have to ask Smiths, lol.

I heard that too.

Teddy's comically oversized name tag gets me every time.

Why doesn't Riley get to play the best music in the WWE anymore?

Also, KING OF WRESTLING!

2012-05-11 08:47:35 PM
Riley has a bruise in his armpit.

2012-05-11 08:48:13 PM
You know, WWE has 4 guys who all win squash matches now.

2 heels
2 faces

4 matches a week now are squash matches like back in the 80s

2012-05-11 08:48:45 PM
Does Riley not know how to go with a gut wrench suplex?

Holy crap, I know this will get lost in the shuffle since it is awhile until Monday, but
BAH GAWD. JOHN CENA IS A MONSTER ACCORDING TO THIS. I don't have a good headline, but man, this is almost newsflash worthy:

I wonder about that. When they actually let him talk, just like Ziggler, in the leadup to Elimination Chamber, he was interesting. Maybe he doesn't have a catchphrase, but he didn't pee on himself during a promo like Vince's jacked-up stars do

There's a huge problem when he talks.

Yeah...face to face Johnny's Main Event does not make me want to go to Pittsburgh. If it was Philly and I knew it'd be extra snarky with the divorce, maybe, but Pitt can sometimes sit on its hands (and other times be awesome)

You know, what is Brodus's record since he's been back. He's gotta be like 15-0 at this point. Sadly, if you combine Ryback, BC, Tensai, and now Antonio Cesaro it is probably 30-0 for the group.

Heck, SD tonight had 3 squash matches.
