eddievercetti: - Vince McMahon has been talking about doing another "Stand Up for WWE" campaign. He's told people that WWE will be getting a lot more aggressive about the persecution from the "liberal media." One person close to the situation said that if Linda McMahon doesn't do good in the current Senate bid, then they are looking to get more outspoken.

Joy.

If he's going to do anything, shouldn't it be now, before Linda fails in the general election? She flushed $50 million of the family fortune into her 2010 bid, and is already in for another $3 million before the primary is even done.

There's a whole bunch of political operatives who will whisper sweet nothing in a candidate's ear, if there's a high-paying gig involved. I take great amusement in Linda McMahon being a money mark for these hacks.

When you are already rich like that you need something to drive you. For them it's power. Can you imagine Linda chairing a committee and getting a democrat to join her kiss my ass club?

-- Here's an interesting note ..... Back on the March 12th, 2012 edition of Monday night RAW, The Rock held a "Rock Concert" in Cleveland, Ohio. During the "concert", The Rock sang the following verse: "Rock saw Cena makin' out with Eve, Grabbin' on her thigh, tuggin' on her weave. Cena was havin' the time of his life, I guess he didn't tell her that he's got a wife. Let's rock. Everybody let's rock. Divorce lawyer's right up the block, but we're dancing because Cleveland Rocks." Just thought we'd point that out

Rock's a wizard!

P-Money All $tar: Anyone here actually have a divorce?

Yup. Actually 2 (long story).

Both went fairly well. The fist we have a kid and that was the most important thing.

The second was only a divorce because an annulment would have been a pain in the ass, cost more and required actual lawyers.

Duck lips are ok if there's an actual kiss involved like in that picture where she is kissing her husband.

Welp, having a cup of coffee and just saw The Miz on our local news station. He's in town to promote the Be A Star program.

I love the Miz, but how does the wwe send out heel wrestlers to promote anti-bullying with a straight face??

They should get R Troof and his little jimmy to promote it.

Also, can't they hire better artists for the courtroom?

FirstNationalBastard: styckx: I think Vince will do the Dudleys right. They weren't just some semi popular (christian) wrestlers. Dudleys are more in the legends category at this point. Their work in ECW could get them in the HOF, nevermind being easily the most popular tag team WWE had other than the hardy boys.

I feel bad for the new generation who will never get to see what we grew up on in the 90s.. I saw a comment on a Youtube video of the Dudleys doing one of their legendary ECW promos from some kid and it read "fark me I grew up in the wrong era"

Yep.. Sure did..

Yeah, but then look at how Vince just spent (possibly) 5 million bucks to bring back Brock Lesnar to job him out to Super Cena with two punches and then fight The Gagne... and we all know how that's going to turn out. Vince has no problem blowing money to humiliate someone. Terry Taylor as the Red Rooster, Dusty Rhodes and his polka dots, the Invasion...

I liked the Red Rooster's entrance.

Perhaps I can provide some insight as a professional artist as to why courtroom artists never seem to get it quite right...

Courtroom art is basically a "gesture" sketch. Designed to capture the moment when cameras are not allowed in the courtroom. I would wager a guess that entire drawing took no more than five minutes. Not enough time to render realistic likenesses for many artists, just enough time to capture the scene and the mood so the media has something visual to represent the proceedings.

Comic art is a completely different animal. Much more time consuming and frequently a group effort. You are a male farker so I assume you are familiar with comic books. ;-) The pencil artist might do a very loose gesture type sketch, or something more detailed depending on their particular style. The inker however has to be very detailed (and anally tidy, again depending on the style of the overall art). While they do have a deadline, they have more time to work on each individual page than a courtroom artist does.

Basically what I am trying to say in too many words, courtroom artists are "fine artists" doing sketches. Comic artists are "graphic designers" creating a finished work from start to finish.

I could go on and on about this but I won't because it's a wrestling thread and I have already threadjacked enough. :-)
