That's terrible. I know things like this go on in prisons around the world, but not in the US. It is terrible that no one was held accountable for this poor woman's death. Had this been a crime committed anywhere else, the DA's office would be ripping the offender to bits. It's obvious favors were made to protect "one of their own." There is no statute of limitations on negligent homicide in AZ, so it's not too late to prosecute.

Hopefully this whole mess in AZ gets some media attention.

Well, it's possible that they were playing up a "citizen's arrest" angle there. Now, a citizen's arrest might not even be strictly applicable in that situation but it might not necessarily rise to the level of a solicited kidnapping either. I've always found an ignore list on Fark to be odd. I have yet to ever use it although I know quite a few people have put me on theirs when they accused me of one thing or another, which was most always untrue.
