After all the decades of hoaxes and obvious bullshiat this is the one that becomes a major expose? It looks like a witch hunt to find anything at all to slag Murdoch owned properties now that he's the target of a major scandal. As soon as it blows over, no one will care about how true or false anything his papers say is again.

I have no real problem with the investigation, I just wonder where the fark these journalists have been while the Mail has been low-hanging yellow journalism for so long. Call me cynical, but it looks like a ratings chase, like everything else news does now.

Oldiron_79: Well I kinda had my suspicions just because it would take a turbo charged retard to go to your ex for dentistry, but then again it is literally impossible to give too much credit for how stupid some people can be....

Stupid and cheap especially.

/Has heard of exes doing things in this vein but much smaller. Don't ever ask someone who hates you for a favor.
//Has heard of a lot more exes getting over things and going back to being cool again.

Murdoch doesn't own The Daily Fail - shocking, I know, it's exactly his style of hate-mongering tripe, but it's owned by Lord Rothermere.

cryinoutloud: DubyaHater: Hmmm.....let's see. Loss of six-figure income and loss of freedom, or revenge on some schmucky ex-boyfriend. Of course the story was bullshiat.
I would never want to lose my license over some idiot ex of mine.

Exactly. I can't see a dentist doing something like that either. It would be like a veterinarian killing their exe's pet for revenge. A vet wouldn't DO something like that.

I'm also having my doubts about "dead babies ground up and put into capsules" story from the other day. The only reason I might go for that one is because I know how many weird things Asians believe in eating 'medicinally."

I believe it completely, because the Chinese are also the ones gobbling up shark fins and rare turtles despite proof that it does nothing for impotence and viagra available everywhere. In the 10-15 years since China became a major world power, nearly every shark and turtle species that was formerly safe has become threatened or endangered.

Traditional Chinese men are goddam loony when it comes to thinking everything out there has a direct effect on their wangs.

Oh hell, it's The Sun that he owns, isn't it? Dammit, I can't believe I didn't notice that until now.

The original story was traced back to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper.

Well there ya go. How that piece of shiat site/newspaper is still in business is beyond me, I don't think I've ever read a story that seemed even remotely true there.

So the TOOTH finally comes out..

You mean the Daily Mail lied?!?!

How unpossible!

I was at the dentist this afternoon getting my teeth worked on and the dude in the stall across from me was having all of his teeth pulled. Definitely not a hoax, and definitely horrifying.

No shiat, Shiaerlock.

And yet the story about the young thugs who steal carts full of Tide detergent and trade it for drugs still lives on!

cgraves67: That story did seem a little over-the-top.

Ah, too bad.

That was one story I would have liked to be true.

If only for the complete stupidity of every single person involved.

There is a special circle in hell for these hoaxing assholes!

SmackLT: Called it

Of course, this was such an obvious, bullshiat story that pretty much everyone called it.

So, at first I was all like, "Why you gotta link every damned word?" Then, I was all like, "Oh, I get it."

There is a serious war between actual stupidity and what is passed as news.

Might have been all his remaining teeth, ie, someone who had lost a bunch until finally saying "fark it, gimme full dentures." Common years ago, still not unheard of.

So how long until someone with that dentist's fake name sues, ala casey anthony's "maid"?

2012-05-10 03:13:07 PM
