When I was 3 or 4 I thought chicken soup with rice was farking genius. Actually, I still do. RIP Mo.

It's definitely a million times better as literature than that farking chicken soup for the soul pile of shiat.

Loved Sendak, loved the books.

/Btw, this new meme of posting mildly-related names and "R.I.P" photos is really annoying and just a finger-killer as you have to scroll past their inane unfunniness. YOU AREN'T FUNNY!

//Like all the stupid pun shiat on this site. Also unfunny.

One of my favorite memories was once when my Husky pup, Tasha was sitting on my lap, as a joke I started reading WTWTA to her simply because I had bought a copy at a garage sale and it was on the table next to my chair. And because I called her my Wild Thing. To my surprise she loved it. Not the BOOK of course but just me talking to her and giving her attention. Read it to her several times through her life. Always the same response. Miss her. Thank you Mr, Sendak for a wonderful book and a treasured memory. saw a Tweet earlier today that said something along the lines of "He finally went home today. And when he got there, he found his dinner waiting for him. And it was still hot..." Room got REALLY dusty.

Blunt honesty and a cynical, misanthropic world view?

Sounds like he would have fit right in at fark.

He didn't like kids much. He didn't like people a whole lot more. He was part of that generation of New York Jewish misanthropes who were in the exact right place and time to recycle their farkedupedness into great and universal art, words, and views. Whether you know it or not, you owe them.

Even with tits... just get.

Wish I had a digital pic of it, but my aunt's family is/was good friends with him. They have a lake place in wisconsin with a dead tree chainsawed into a momma bear, little bear, cat, owl, etc. Looks *really* good...
