Icetech3: I actually started watching the original series recently, im upto episode 32, and its MUCH better than i expected.. i can't wait for barnabas to show up :)

P.S. its kinda amusing that the only actor that never messes up is the 8 year old boy...

You've got awhile to go, then. IIRC he first makes his appearance in episode 210.

Bathia_Mapes: TheHopeDiamond: Hey, Bathia!!! Check this note out from the Amazon page:

**It is important to note as well that on the original individual box set that featured episode #451 a very popular "blooper" was omitted. The blooper featured an actress playing an old witch who went up on her line. You then could hear someone off camera telling her what the line was. In this "Complete Collection" set that blooper is being restored!**

You're BACK, baby!!

Dark Shadows bloopers (pt 1). The "Bathia Mapes" one is about 5:05 in.

Yup I've got all the VHS collected tapes :D Even the 1840 summary!

BTW-Do you own any of the Paperback Library "Dark Shadows" novels written by Marilyn Ross (real name Daniel Ross)? I have roughly 25 of the 32 titles published.

I'm missing ONE :(

That's a neat photo of Frid doing the cameo in the new movie in your profile. Last known photo before he passed?

One of several stills on the set, but the only one I've seen that features both "Barnabas'". That was taken from the cameo appearance (they're party guests.

Now this is odd. Wifey just informed me before going to bed that that she'd like to go to the movie this weekend. This, after telling me a week ago that she wasn't a fan of the series. Go figure.

I wonder if Stephen King is going to see the movie, considering the "Maine connection". :-)

I'm sure he will. And as he's a movie fan he probably will regardless of the Maine factor.
