Shorter TFA:

"Moooooommmmmeeeeeee!!!!!! The liberals are punching back again!!!!"

Seriously, Rush and Glenn go after the Obama kids, and that's just fine to Malkin and co. A liberal fires back at a candidate's kids (one who does regularly throw herself into the political arena), and it's full on poutrage. God damn I hate American conservatives.

Why are we not using his Tea Party approved epithet "Pig Maher"?

Maher: Hello?
Obama: Hey, Bill, it's Barak. Listen, can you put a few zingers in there against the Palins for me? I totally need to humiliate their daughter to win next fall.
Maher: OK. How about I give you a million dollars, too?
Obama: That's my man! Just take it easy on the retard stuff. Sarah takes that way too personally.

Buffalo77: Liberals continue the attack on unwed single mothers while denigrating Conservatives for being mean evil uncaring people. who continue to make themselves public figures. STFU and raise your child in privacy, and be free of such scrutiny.

Raise my child? STFU?

I love intelligent debate!

If someone is a public figure at least have the intelligence or wit to debate ideas or points of view they have. To borrow one on the liberal mantras, don't lower yourself to the "politics of personal destruction". Aren't libs better than that? OK, that last part was a troll, of course they aren't.

thamike: Craptastic: According to the conservatives, EACH liberal speaks for EVERY liberal - even the POTUS. They're dicks like that, and that kind of rhetoric plays well in Jesusland and on AM radio.

You can't blame them. Though awkward and disturbingly laughable, it's probably the only sincere attempt at empathy they make.

Ya know... I don't blame them. I just think that people in general aren't smart enough to understand that they're (WE'RE) being played for fools. But mostly conservatives, to be honest. Whatever... I'll keep voting for "least worst" until someone comes up with a better idea.

Cletus C.: Let me state the obvious and say this place is filled with hypocrites. Blatant. Stupid. Tiring. Sanctimonious. Hypocrites.

Wow. You snotrags just keep throwing lamb legs to the right-wing.

The next time you wonder how anybody could ever be so moronic, so farking retarded, so gawddamned clueless as to vote for a Republican take a good look at yourselves. You're chum in a shark cage, morans.

Let me state the obvious: you are an idiot.

I just love it when fools like you emerge from the shadows to prove what fools you are.

Thank you. Please keep up the good work.

My problem with this is that it plays right into Sarah Palin's hands. She thrives in the attacks against her and her family because there's nothing she (and Republicans in general) love more than for her to prop herself on that cross and play the victim. I really wish people just shut the hell up about that whole family.

I like maher. He's the left wings rush limbough. He insults honest people, ignores facts, I love it.as a moderate, it's quickly becoming a bunch of nut jobs of the left and right and maybe we can finally have a moderate political party to get rid of all these extremists

BritneysSpeculum: She deserves to be attacked. She bills herself as a spokesperson for abstinence but she has already given birth to a bastard child and is now shacking up with some other hump in a trial marriage.

She doesn't deserve to be attacked, she deserves to be ignored. What truly pisses me off is that idiots think that Obama's supposed to be responsible for him. And, lest we forget, Maher didn't donate to Obama's campaign. He donated to a SuperPAC that supports a liberal agenda (so maybe Maher should shut up about being a Libertarian for a while). And that's not the same thing.

You know, I write political sketches and I have two idols: Jon Stewart and Tom Lehrer. Bill Maher is neither one of those two.

No, we're making fun of one particular unwed single mother who happens to make six figures by going around preaching abstinence to other kids. Huge farking difference.

Hmm, you seem like quite the analyst. Bastard child, that's a good one.

OK, lets again use your analytic skills. What would you call someone whose mother was pregnant when she married the father of the child, but the father was already married to another women and lied about the fact he was still married.

Would you can him child of unwed mother, would you call him son of polygamist, would you can him bastard child (your favorite) or would you call him President.

You pick.

Diogenes: I thought a donor's freedom of speech was paramount, or did I misread Citizens United?

Plus, since money = free speech, Bill's entitled to at least 8 more slams on the Palin women. He paid for it after all.

Not to mention, how can this be put back on Obama? After all, SuperPACs can't collude with the candidate, right?

Unless I misremember by 1st Amendment law, legally speaking Bristol Palin is what is called a "limited purpose public figure." The idea of a limited purpose public figure is that they are not protected from defamation or invasion of privacy on the issues that they push themselves into the media for.

So, if you're really looking for irony...legally speaking, not only is making fun Bristol's pregnancies OK, it's one of the ONLY topics that're OK to make fun of her about.

Oh I see your point, I agree.

So Limbaugh was just an entertainer poking fun at Sandra Fluke. Got it.

Sure, if you want to be dishonest about Limbaugh's influence. Honest people understand that being a keynote speaker at CPAC means Limbaugh's more influential in the GOP than a simple entertainer.

Let us all know when Bill Maher speaks and Democratic conventions or political events, k?

It is OK to denigrate women if they meet certain standards.

One woman was called a slut because she wanted government-paid birth control.

Another woman was called a coont because she is the voice of a bunch of right wingnuts.

Guess which one is OK.

Forgot_my_password_again: dear right-wing,

Heres the difference. No one on the left has made bill maher their lord and savior, like you've done with rushy.

You hang on limbeaughs every word, you proudly proclaim yourselves dittoheads, your politicians are afraid to criticize him and those that dare to are forced to apologize, he's invited to speak at your political rallies.

You know how maher is treated by the left? 90% with a "who?" 9.9% with, "hey that was marginally funny" and the rest are to busy burning flags on veterans graves to pay attention.

Stop it already.

You have only yourselves to blame.

Yeah, the minute Obama, or any Democrat anywhere publicly apologizes to Maher, call me. He holds no political power over anyone. Love him or hate him, don't pretend he has much of an impact in this country.

Where do you get the idea that for decades employers were required to provide health care insurance for their employees. Think you need to check your history.

If they were required as you say, then everyone would already be covered and Obamacare would not have been needed. Correct? Non working covered by medicaid and medicare and working people by gov't mandated healthcare.

Fringe benefits began because of govt imposed wage control measures. Companies needed incentives to attract the best and brightest so they began offering Fringe benefits as a way around the wage control measures. Soon people began to view fringe benefits as a right, hence your view that govt is mandating these benefits.

True. The difference still amounts to how accepted that person is of the parties ideology. Both should be condemned, but one is far worse then the other. Both are odeous individuals. One can claim legitimately to speak for the party. The difference is political. If he had merely called bristol a hypocrite and slut by her own aspoused values, he would be right in that assesment.
