Where do you get the idea that for decades employers were required to provide health care insurance for their employees. Think you need to check your history.

If they were required as you say, then everyone would already be covered and Obamacare would not have been needed. Correct? Non working covered by medicaid and medicare and working people by gov't mandated healthcare.

Fringe benefits began because of govt imposed wage control measures. Companies needed incentives to attract the best and brightest so they began offering Fringe benefits as a way around the wage control measures. Soon people began to view fringe benefits as a right, hence your view that govt is mandating these benefits.

True. The difference still amounts to how accepted that person is of the parties ideology. Both should be condemned, but one is far worse then the other. Both are odeous individuals.
