My concerns over Romney is what he's done legally, actually. Like making shiatloads of money off companies that went bust and displaced a bunch of working people.

5. Yelling at a radio host over his gay marriage record
In March 2007, when he was starting his first bid for the GOP nomination, Romney met with about a dozen conservatives in Chicago. Things were cordial until talk-radio host Sandy Rios asked him about printing gender-neutral marriage certificates when he was governor of Massachusetts, Rios told MassResistance. "At that point Romney lost his temper" and accused me of lying, Rios said. "He asked if I was an attorney and I said, 'No, sir, I am not.' 'I am a graduate of Harvard Law School,' he stated." It wasn't the only time Romney got snippy with a radio host in 2007. Watch Romney get mad on video, via Politico:

Wait, Romney thinks having a law degree makes you more believable?

I was unaware Romney was ever cool.

As someone who has seen Boston Legal, I have to agree with him.

1. Newt drops out.
2. Dirty laundry about Romney starts coming in waves.
3. You can't explain that.

Of Mitt Romney in these circumstances, I can only say this: of all the stories I have encountered about Mitt Romney and his travels, these were the most... human.

This.

3. Putting Rick Perry in a "Vulcan neck pinch"

I read that as "neck punch". Of course, if anyone deserved to be punched in the neck, it's Rick Perry.

Number four makes me laugh. It doesn't even matter which version of the story I go with, I'm with Romney. People who do that shiat ought to be verbally assaulted.

As opposed to the Vulcan Donkey Punch. Fascinating.

Seriously,Romney puts someone in a chokehold on a plane and it's the other guy that gets the boot? It's good to be rich and powerful.

Most of those break down to: Romney gets mad when he is treated like a normal person.

2012-05-08 02:18:28 PM
Dammit.

When will they realize that the RomneyBot specs clearly state that his watercooling system must be 100% hand-collected Himalayan icemelt? Anything else will cause loss of cool (or "overheating").

Mitt seems kind of pinchy.

Yeah, he's an colossal, entitled asshole. Not exactly breaking news...

I sure love hearing news that wasn't relevant to anything 30 years ago. Is it somehow important now?

Yeah, but what about the part where Mitt complained that the other guy 'broke his hair'; that's just weird and robot-y. What kind of guy puts his hair in a state where it can break; what kind of guy would then give a shiat if it did break?

The Church of FSM, duh, but Whidbey doesn't imply any aren't made up, only that it was the wrong one they were thinking of. To be technical.

Hell if I know. I don't even own a comb, so I have no idea what a statement like that could even mean.

Actually, by specifying the religion was made-up implies another class of religions, described as not-made-up. Otherwise their is no point in making the distinction. To be technical about implications. Understanding that, I wondered what would fall in that other category, and why. And yes this is woefully of the topic of romney-bot 3000.

Romney may be the first candidate in history who could actually benefit from having a criminal record.

In 1981, Romney was putting the family boat into Lake Cochituate, an hour outside of Boston, when a park officer told him he couldn't because the license looked painted over.

what the romney "family boat" may look like.

Ok, point conceded, and agreed on off-topic-ness.

On the topic, reading through those Mitt-ercations or whatever they called them... it just further solidified my take of him as a milquetoast white-bread, boring white dude that has no idea of the dynamism of the world outside of upper-class Massachusetts/NH/Connecticut. Don't get me wrong, they're fine places with a lot to enjoy, but the world is much much bigger and I'd like my presidential candidate to at least seem to pay lip service to that instead of seeming blissfully unaware.

Who cares? Bush v2.0 has two DUIs under his belt. That would make him ineligible for an outsourced call center job if he was a regular person. These people don't operate under the same rules regular people do.
