We may have a similar race in Missouri's First district, after the 3rd was eliminated. I hope they can avoid that, though, somehow.

Hey, that's my district too!

I think I like Rothman because he didn't vote for CISPA, he co-sponsors HR.808 for the establishment of the Department of Peace. But I kind of want someone more outspoken. I want a Dennis Kucinich. So far this year, Rothman's sponsored several bills on suspending duties for yarn and on congratulating the Giants, but that's it.

Rothman. He's been my representative as long as I can remember and gave a wonderful answer to "have you ever been to [my hometown]?" on our 8th grade trip to Washington.

"Yeah, it's like being in the country..."

*blank faces, as we're a suburb across the river from NYC*

"Except you're in the city, and sometimes you forget."

It's just like when the Republicans fight over who is the most extreme right-wing candidate.
Except backwards.

I don't live in Jersey but I thought it was kinda sad that this thread couldn't even achieve double digits so I'm tossing in a quick pity post here.

/One more post and this thread goes double digits!
//Good luck, Jersey thread.

Yikes. I'm over here stuck in Scott Garrettown. I was hoping we'd have Rothman over here but he chickened out and moved to Pascrell's district.
